Talakai lost his starting position because of his defense, it's on him (and coaching staff for not addressing it sooner)

You can't play him on an edge anymore unless you have him defend in the middle where he is less exposed and has more help around him

I'm all for giving him more minutes from the bench though - spell Mcinnes at Lock then shuffle him into middle forwards

Unfortunately best player to play him off them a bit wider is McInnes

Atko if he’s on can. A few of the other guys can pass okay too, Rudolf is actually decent at it from memory.

But the one I’m keen to see is the AFB to Talakai or visa versa passing link up. That has real danger to it if they can nail the timing, and no reason to think they can’t
