Agree, but... it is the Tigers.I think Benji is safe for a little while. You can't appoint a rookie coach with zero coaching experience and not be patient.

Richo is a good operator.Agree, but... it is the Tigers.
AgreeHe'll get a couple of years with the Luai-Galvin at the least
Interesting that 4/5 of that list were finals teams last year.I think the only coaches who are under pressure for their jobs next season are
O'Brien
Payten
& behind them would be
Siebold (needs to make finals and win 1 game)
Webster (only if they **** the bed again next season)
Robinson (if they finish bottom 8 next season he could be in trouble)
Everyone else is safe imo.
I think with Payten, he is similar to O'Brien. Neither of them will ever win a comp. Half decent coaches on their day but there just not good enough.Interesting that 4/5 of that list were finals teams last year.
I guess there has been a lot of change recently for the bottom 9 sides.
Possibly, but the joints a snakepit, and he cldnt get his ol mate Lodgey Boy a gd deal.I think Siebold is safe for the time being.
I'd like to see Benji do some pre-season army boot camp coaching training. Really test his coaching mettle in extreme conditions.I think Benji is safe for a little while. You can't appoint a rookie coach with zero coaching experience and not be patient.
Especially when that side had been wooden spooners the two seasons prior to him taking overI think Benji is safe for a little while. You can't appoint a rookie coach with zero coaching experience and not be patient.
Wasn't it 5 years initially?Shane Richardson is a smart operator. The first one the Tigers have had in the front office for a very, very, very long time. The only stability they had was the same morons running the joint into the ground. Rico won’t flinch under pressure and throw Benji under the bus to save his own skin. He is not a glory hound. I also don’t think Benji is a fool who would take on the job without some assurances/agreements that he would be given time. I reckon unless he pulls the pin early, he gets at least 2025. Remember the original plan was that Tim Sheens would still be coach for 2025. How long is Benji’s contract?
I think you could be right. 5 years – 2 under Tim and 3 as head coach.Wasn't it 5 years initially?
That's my recollection of how it was supposed to play out.I think you could be right. 5 years – 2 under Tim and 3 as head coach.
yeah just read 2023/2024 was meant to be under sheens with 2025 being his first full year in charge. That's my recollection of how it was supposed to play out.
Although versatile I can’t imagine he commands much more than min wageGrant Anderson front he storm signs with the broncos for 2026.
Word is donkeys tried getting him this season :? Once again, how the **** do you they have money to spend? This needs to be looked at 100%.
He's a WA boy and grew up in Newcastle it says. So yeah not sure. Broncos i believe wanted him early, not sure if he was also keen.Although versatile I can’t imagine he commands much more than min wage
In saying that I’m also not sure how they’d have much more than min wage available.
Doesn’t really make sense to me he’d want to move early? Backup in great team can backup in maybe good team with loads of question marks…
Maybe would make more sense if he was a Queenslanders but he’s actually born in WA and grew up in NSW
But surely the Broncos would have players in their squad coming off contract at the end of 2025?Grant Anderson front he storm signs with the broncos for 2026.

This has been discussed already but i don't see any chance of the donkeys keeping both Cobbo & Staggs. (Yes there coach thinks they can) but i feel that is just bullshit. Signing Anderson could mean they know they will be losing one of the two. Not saying Anderson is anywhere near the level of either however it gives them further depth in the centre position.Although versatile I can’t imagine he commands much more than min wage
