Could you imagine Ponga if Flanno got his hands on him?

I doubt Flanno would choose to leave but I wouldn't put it past the dargons board to be stupid and piss him off

Ponga under Flanno would be good to watch however their halves need fixing bad.

Matt Lodge likely to be given a 1 year deal by Souths now that they've moved Ilias on to the dragons.
No other club besides St Merge has really shown any interest at this stage.
Manly had a 300k deal split across 2 seasons but he said he wouldn't play for that amount. Interested to see now what he does end up signing for (if he goes get a contract) due to literally nobody chasing him.

Its funny how he's saying he wouldn't play for 150k a season considering he's been paid out 1 mil to leave the Broncos then the warriors also paid him 750k to **** off as well. Think he would have taken what he's been given considering he's robbed two of the four clubs he's recently played for :ROFLMAO:

Roosters are going all out to try sign Reece Robson for 2026.
Cowboys have an offer on the table for him however the Rorters have just upped there offer.
Rumour is its around the 850-900k range for season.

Be interesting to know his logic behind he wouldn't play for that amount.
Yes he paid a big fine through much of early career, but like you said he has seen a bit of cash over the years now.
I wonder if he has easy access into another industry and the cost of NRL (health/CTE) isn't worth 150k to him vs moving on.
Or if he just thinks he's better than that and worth more.

Couldn't support his family was his reason I believe, also said something along the lines it was disrespected to be on same wage as an unproven rookie.

Might be stretching his means a bit then, hope he has something good lined up for the very near future
