Gal to 2nd row
Wade to lock
Carney to half
5/8.....Take your pick :take that

5/8 Kelly

Kelly one side, Carney the other and Wade in the middle ....I love it !!!!

Gal to 2nd row and he can concentrate on one side and let these lads do their thing .... and we could be anything !!!!

Your probably right, but I doubt Flanno brought in Robson just to sit in reserves, probably what should happen, but I reckon Flanno has made him a promise of senior football. As much as I would like to see Kelly in the team, I reckon it will be Carney at 6 and Robson at 7 to start the year.

If we do sign Carney, it will be the biggest signing the club has made for a very, very long time. Don't concern yourself with the possible negative outcome of it, just assume and support the very possible positive outcome of this. Which is Carney behaving, playing to his full potential and being so greatful to the club for giving him his final chance when no one else would, that he stays around for a long time.

Can you imagine all the buzz there would be all off-season? All of it building up to our first home game to see one of the most talented players in the world walk out in Sharks colours? The place should be a sell-out. ****, I know I'll be doing my best to get into the state to watch it.

Having Carney puts the Sharks on everyones lips, on every sports channel and in probably every sports headline in the off-season. We'll have more publicity then the place could ever imagine and if the positive outcome achieved, the possibilities are endless.

We won't die if Carney mucks up, but my goodness we can flourish if he doesn't. The positives far outweigh the negatives.

Robson wasn't wanted anywhere else. He won't be on big dollars. I can safely assume he won't be playing in the squad round 1 if Carney is signed.

Flanagan has highlighted depth as our main problem and has said so in numerous news reports, and has recruited as such. Robson fits into that category.

Looks like Carney is heading to the Sharks by the sounds of things,
I hope he works out for the Sharks, he is exactly the kind of player (on the field) the sharks need.

I wont mention his off field issues its been taked about to death.
Fact is its looking more and more likely he will be at the Sharks next year, so all we can do is hope for the best,

Robson was the halfback of a grandfinal team. I dont care if he was the worst player on the field in that grandfinal that is good experience to have as a depth player

Big whoop he was a grandfinal halfback. Shane Perry won a competition and he
was a shunt. Richard Fiddlingwithhisaunty played for Australia and he was a massive shunt.

Even wilson's being positive about carney, it must be good for us.

His good form often lifts the players around him he is that sort of player.

Hopefully some of Carney's attacking potency rubs off on Kelly and Townsend while playing along side them.

We are signing a former dally m winner in his prime. Hard to see a negative about it at all. And i echo what Gal said in the press conference today, the media should back off him a bit, putting that crap in the paper while he was overseas having a beer is stupid, and more to the point, very mediocre journalism. If we play the media right, and stand by exactly how Gal has called it, i don't see there being to many problems.....

Agree with SJH except I think we need to find room for Taga on the bench!
