Covell and Simmons are defensive liabilities and if we are not scoring points out wide anyway, I would replace them with better defenders.

I cannot agree about Simmons, his defence in the centres has been extremely solid so far this season and he is still only learning the position. He may not have offered a lot on attack so far, but I don't see how anyone can question his defence.

probably not, i like the idea off keeping them fresh but they could play the 80 minutes

im sure they could play 80 mins but i think itd be better to have to quality fresh players on to always keep defenders on there toes and always be able to make the tackle

so what would u go with then scott? would u rather 1 hooker who plays 80 mins, who wouldnt probably play as good for the whole game but would give us an extra play on the bench or would you rather 2 hookers who will stay fresh but the forwards would have to play longer...

depends on the hooker, if it was a cameron smith or a robbie farrah id want them out there for the 80, but if they are explosice like de gois or a seu seu id want them kept fresh

we can afford to have 2 hookers because we have blokes in the forwards like bird, gallen and douglas who can all play a full game. its just a matter of working out which is our best 1,2 combination for the hooking role

exactly right, and if we were to have 1 hooker kinga would be the go just for his defence, but i like the 2

Lets face it 3 hookers doesnt go into one team so someone is going to miss out and it could be 2 that miss out but not likely. None of us knows what Ricky is thinking so we will have to wait and see.

Im just a bit over this impact hooker thing and would rather see another big mobile guy come on in the middle of the ruck instead of another hooker. You can always send a 6/7 to dummy half if there is a problem.

Dont get me wrong I like Kingston and I think he is a good player. Ive been a fan of his since he got a run in first grade.

But a hooker is a hooker and if you dont make plenty of tackles and scoot out of dummy half every so often you wouldnt be a hooker. They are just basic things hookers do, some better than others ie Priddis/Buderus.

Half my point is we should maybe start to go with one specialist hooker and forget about this rotation policy.

Some folk say Kimmorley could be the one scooting from dummy half.

de gois has been terrible this year..his passing from dummy half has been worse then a 8 year old girl playing footy..he hasnt had the same impact as last year and hasnt made many decent runs..he has done a 180 degree turn on last year..opposite for kingston

Yes.........an 8 year old girl...........everybody agrees with you bar none.
