Farrah is out,see NRL.com.au.He rates himself as "some chance of playing Sheens says he dosn't think so&maybe 1-2 more weeks.Benji also no certainty-

Benji Marshall named for NRL return
By Liam FitzGibbon
AAP
Kiwi superstar Benji Marshall is confident of making his NRL return this weekend and admits he already has one eye on next month's Centenary Test against Australia.

The Wests Tigers playmaker has been named at five-eighth in the team to face Cronulla on Sunday in what would be his first match since tearing a knee ligament minutes into the round one win over St George Illawarra.

While still no certainty to play, Marshall is hoping solid games this week and next week against Brisbane will prove he is ready for a Test return before the New Zealand squad is named on May 4.

"I'd by lying if I said no," injury-prone Marshall said when asked if he was thinking about the May 9 Test at the SCG.

"I've missed too many Tests as it is, I'd love to be picked in the team but I've got two games to get myself ready for that.

"I'm sure if I can get two 80-minute games under my belt I'll feel ready.

"Having said that, if I don't feel ready I won't put my name forward."

Tigers coach Tim Sheens said Marshall would only face the Sharks if he and the club's medical staff were happy with how he gets through training this week.

But the 23-year-old five-eighth was confident his knee would be right after weeks of practising his trademark sidestep.

"I've been stepping for the last two-and-a-half weeks, the step feels good," Marshall said.

"It's just getting confidence back and getting running so I've started doing that and I've just got to get through Thursday and Friday (training).

"Fingers crossed I'll be sweet to play ... I'm feeling pretty confident and I'm looking forward to it."

Marshall's return was set to create a selection headache for Sheens with both halves Mathew Head and John Morris playing well in recent weeks.

But the coach solved that problem by naming Head at halfback alongside Marshall and Morris at hooker in place of the injured Robbie Farah.

Farah is still some chance of returning from a back injury on Sunday, but Sheens was far from optimistic.

The hooker will visit a back specialist on Wednesday over the ongoing injury which threatens to damage his hopes of playing representative football this season.

"I don't think he'll play - simple as that," Sheens said.

"Unless a miracle happens I think we're looking at least the week after, maybe the week after that, which puts him in jeopardy I suppose for City-Country as well."

is it true snowden got suspended again when he came back into NSW cup? hence the reason he's only back playing now not earlier.

snowden was suspended for headbutting in his first game back from suspension, so far it seems he made it through his first game back from that suspension without getting suspended

Kingston has been poor in recent weeks and De Gois is getting back to something close to his best form. Seu Seu deserves a chance and can do well against tiring forwards, but Im not sure if continually picking 2 hookers for each game is really worth it.

I dont think Rickys interchanges were the best against the Panthers. Stephenson got hardly any minutes, and Im not sure why you play a hooker for the first 30 and the last 10.

Covells defence is just ****, and if he lets in any more stupid tries and keeps missing goals he surely has to get tae ****. There looks to be players in the 2nd team ready for a shot.

Nuts, Cooper and Stephenson looks an ok bench but I would prefer Selmes size. I guess Nuts workrate makes up for that, but we looked tired in the middle of the ruck last game towards the end but not sure how much of that was due to Douglas and Thompson missing plenty of minutes.

Im still not sure on this backline, or if it is our team structures failing to get the ball out to them. Seymours kicking game close to the line is awesome, and Kimmorleys long kicking game is a perfect compliment.

Covell and Simmons are defensive liabilities and if we are not scoring points out wide anyway, I would replace them with better defenders.

if kingston has been poor then whats his best footy because he was playing way better then last year and im not even a fan of him...

didnt play stephenson much cause he is useless

hellll yeah...alot of people dont realise the stuff he does behinde the scenes that people dont seem to notice. in the rabbits game he made a great tackle around the anckles that stopped a rabbits player and if he didnt make the tackle he was gonna make an easy 30 metres since there was no one else in front of him.

and the run he made against the sea eagles that set up the try for kearney. and the run he made against the panthers which set up kimmorley for his field goal. we were gonna have to kick it down field but instead he runs 20-30 metres. so how can u say hes playing badly? its not like im trying to say hes perfect. its just that i think hes a reliable player who can come in handy alot of the time. and may also be playing better then de gois atm. de gois hasnt been the same this year yet kinga has picked up his game. thats why hes starting and de gois is on the bench.

and dont be surprised if we miss him out there on sunday with his tackles and choices in running where seu seu may be inexperienced. (kinga has played about 60 games so he knows what hes doing)

I gotta fly Kingas flag in this one, I think he's made vast improvements on last years form. He's no world beater by any stretch but he certainly isn't playing himself out of a spot IMO, or deserving of a bagging. He's probably played more consistent footy than De Gois this season and I really don't think he'd be missing from this weeks line up if it wasn't for an injury. Might take a bit from Seu Seu and De Gois to keep him out past the length of injury too.

Im just not up for this two hooker system any more. It didnt work with Sullivan, and its not going much better with Kingston/De Gois. I dont think its good for their confidence or getting into any rhythm.

My opinions is that neither De Gois or Kingston have been very good so far this season but for me De Gois has his nose in front. Maybe Ricky agrees and possibly sees Seu Seu as better than both of them.

Lets face it 3 hookers doesnt go into one team so someone is going to miss out and it could be 2 that miss out but not likely. None of us knows what Ricky is thinking so we will have to wait and see.

Im just a bit over this impact hooker thing and would rather see another big mobile guy come on in the middle of the ruck instead of another hooker. You can always send a 6/7 to dummy half if there is a problem.

Welcome to Emu Plains, please be sure to visit our
de gois has been terrible this year..his passing from dummy half has been worse then a 8 year old girl playing footy..he hasnt had the same impact as last year and hasnt made many decent runs..he has done a 180 degree turn on last year..opposite for kingston

Dont get me wrong I like Kingston and I think he is a good player. Ive been a fan of his since he got a run in first grade.

But a hooker is a hooker and if you dont make plenty of tackles and scoot out of dummy half every so often you wouldnt be a hooker. They are just basic things hookers do, some better than others ie Priddis/Buderus.

Half my point is we should maybe start to go with one specialist hooker and forget about this rotation policy.

mate, neither de gois, kinga or seu seu(im guessing) could probably play 80 mins. for the work load those 2 do(kinga and de gois) i cant see them playing 80 mins. they would just be to tired. de gois gets tired after playing 50 mins, he cant play another 30 and kinga hasnt been getting enough game time so yeah. i just think everyones already got thier opinion about him from his early days. i dont see how u can think hes playing **** this year mate im sorry maybe im being biased but hes not playing ****

kingston played good on Saturday and was finding form its a shame to see him injured although its a good chance for seu seu to step up and make an impact out of dummy half like what we had with tevita latu.

i think they would be able to play eith the 80 minutes or close to it

Yes he did, and he played pretty strong as well...I think we'll be seeing him in first grade sooner rather than later.
