Why is Bromwich allowed to just wrap his arms around the tackled player for what feels like hours before the freaking ball is played. He does it everyone time, no penalty.

The Storm are so crap to watch. They try their best to kill the game every year.

Smith gets away with murder in the ruck, all over the ball every tackle and no penalty. On the flip side woods and fifita called in every tackle to get off them straight away by the refs.

We certainly *** up in the 1st half with heap of possession but SJ shat the bed tonight and then chad in the 2nd half with the intercept.

If our halves fire, we win that easily. Melbourne with the ball were hot garbage and our defence was good enough to keep them at a low score. I lay tonight’s loss squarely at the feet of our halves. Not saying they were alone with their **** games (looking at you Williams) but simple matter is, if those two play a bit better, we win.

Shaun looked lost without nikora there. Tbf, he actually wants to run with purpose and does, there was none of that outside SJ tonight

It might be kogarah but the way we threw that away with penalties and dropped ball felt very Cronulla

FMD Shaun Johnson just put in the worst performance of any NRL player in the last two seasons and we get half a dozen posts calling for Chad to be dropped.

Chad was fine. He did his job but they clearly had a plan to go the other way. It was an obvious tactic to attack down SJ’s side. Is Chad responsible for SJ’s **** ups too?

Some positives ...

- Brailey was outstanding
- Woods first half stint was 10/10
- Billy completely changed the shape of the team when he came on. Such a shame about that late drop. It ruined a great stint for him.
