we were lucky because we were continually laying all over there players in the ruck..we were lucky maxwell had already blown the pea out of the whistle

Well at least Maxwell was consistent in that regard, they were all over us in the play the ball as well...Beau Scott on Ross was about the only time I can remember him pulling them up.

simmo - back himself to run, become a mongrel and start swinging some punches if someone tries to smash him, and combine with his winger...and i will be happy

maxwell..consistent like all refs..there sh!t but at least there consistent..but they all seem to be getting worse each round..the commentators were going nuts with all the dodgy calls

kimmorley was very lucky with his try..he stuffed it with that grubber but dougy saved his arse by kicking it again..

simmo..seriously needs to back himself..he had a couple of breaks and decided to find someone to pass it to..FMD PLEASE PLEASE BACK YOURSELF!

Last few weeks you been telling him to give it more. That first run though he had 20m of space to run, but he ducked and weaved no one then gave Misi the ball. He just had to run and run hard and take the meters on offer.

He really does sh!t me on occasions. He picked it up and took a few runs later and took some contact, but really has to aim up and take advantage. Unfortunately, from what I seen of the U20's today, there isn't a replacement. Stapo was pretty ordinary in defense, but on the other hand you know he'd run. Tough call that I'm happy to leave with Sticky.

At least maxwell was consistent with that it was like a love in every tackle :D

bukuya deserves a chance..in a beaten side (crap 2nd half by u/20's), he was awesome, scored our first try, lovely pick up on the run after orcher flicked it out the back before he hit the ground

simmo..he improved tonight..but he needs some mongrel, needs to fire up like a shark chasing its dinner..

Simmo and Misi struggle to get the football in their hands, because as Willy has pointed out the ball seldom comes to the right side on attack...very frustrating, and very easy for other sides to read.

I'm just happy to get the win. Too many times I go off early even after a win at how bad we played. For 60 mins we just weren't in that game, had a million chances to score but for some reason we just cannot get the ball over the line. When the other Morris brother scored that second try to go 12-0 up I honestly thought it was over. We didn't look like scoring a try and I was finding it hard to see where it would come from.

The refereeing was a disgrace - for both sides. Saints got some pretty bad calls, the strip call on Seymour was dead set ridiculous, the soft penalty on the charge down from Setu was embarrassing but on the Sharkies side the disallowed try from Simmons was just a f*cking nightmare! The video ref has far too much say in things - if one ref can't call the game properly then it's about time two refs were brought in or we need to raise the standard somehow.

As I said I'll take the win but if we dish up the same sh*t against the Bunnies next week, I will not be happy at all!

the bunnies will beat us if we do..its kimmorley still getting free reign on our attack..it needs to stop NOW..seymour needs to control our attack..if he does, we score more points..we also need to trust our right side..suppose no one trusts simmo (need to trust the centre before looking at the winger)..and we seem to go with the tried and trusted left attack..through the ball around and play whats in front of you..maybe we are to structured in attack

that bombed try by pom early on was shocking..he tries and barge over soward, go left or right of him and you score

that was great,a win, 2 point, against the steelers even better, and a scuffall in the ET lower, bad looser got barrelled rolled, its long bus trip back to Dapto was the trigger, nice work to those young Shark fan who backed their mate up and great work to older shark fan who broke it up with a nice wrestling move that end the dragqueens fan's night up side down between rows e & d.
Kimmorley seemed to be grabbing his left knee alot and he didn't seem to be chasing the kick a well as normal, I hope he's alright. Dragqueen defence was solid.go Sharks.
PS breaks that guys theory from early in the week about the 1st and 2nd round, he had me worried. And the 1 point victory is great for our for and against

Did anyone read the report on the League Unlimited site by some goose named Ian Ritchie. Described the Covell try saying that an incredible pass from Bird set it all up. And he gave Birdy the man of the match award! Hope it wasn't because of that incredible pass.....WHEN IT WAS SEYMOUR WHO THREW IT YOU IDIOT!!!!! :rant

I hate it when reporters can't get even the simplest things right. Also the photo on the story was an old one in our away jersey weeks ago!

Boy am I hopping mad!!!!!!:rant:rant:rant

it was also great to see ET at the game..gary belcher interviewed him before the game..wish he was still in his prime and in our backline..we need him

Yeah that was great to see Badge interview ET before the game...he was saying he gets down to see as many games as he can, when someone was saying on here a while ago that he only turns up if he gets paid to do so!

no sharkyboy..because against storm or manly or broncos or roosters..we would have been belted if we played like that..we beat an understrength team and so ref calls went our way in the crucial part of the game..

f*ck..i just want to win easy for once!

i wanted to throttle certain players (namely kimmorley) for 70 minutes of pure rubbish..i destroyed my big league because of it..i am going to invest in a defib to keep beside my while i watch the footy because this team will be the death of me

but we didnt play storm manly or the roosters we played st scum and beat them you idiot stop all the negativity

Jarrod maxwell will ref reverse grade next week, Noddy played well, Kearney is a brilliant player but shouldn't be fullback he's too light gets draged into touch too much or behind try line, but I know he wont be changed this year by ricky

another great display by Simmons [not] gee we need a top centre next year to partner Poms, you wonder why we can't score points.
This bloke is the biggest PUSSY in the nrl, anyway great win to the sharkies, best players Dougie, Seymour,Gal, and no injuries.

We will never win easy while we have attacking players like Simmons.

The only time Simmons we be better than poms.
Sharkboy a bit quicker than what,he has got no pace at all, i would prefer burkura any day.

Actually Wado I thought that Simmons was one of our more effective backs tonight, despite the fact that the ball hardly ever comes out his side. Poms on the other hand had a game to forget, in my opinion.

Did anyone notice that Stick took off Misi in the 63rd minute and pushed Simmo to the wing and Ando to the centres. I wonder if this will be the case next week?
