NRL Early Mail Round 2: Teams news heading

If were going to drop players after one game then we are already cooked.

I also liked what I saw from lee in the trials

All in favour of a Gando guessing game?

I think i can find a sharksforeva stubby holder, whats the guessing comp?

I'm guessing gando likes wearing his wife's panties when she's not around.

Wearing them now.

im guessing he likes a sneaky longneck of VB on the way home from work...

only drink VB cans.

I’m guessing he loves to sunbathe nude by the seaside.

How are we doin’ Tatus?

haha you been watching me out boat harbour???

How many people will call for Val to be put back to the wing after the game.

Happy to let him try to redeem himself . BUT

Pearce said this last night on FOX

Guest star and Newcastle half Mitchell Pearce said he’d move Moylan to the No. 1 to reduce the strain on his defensive game in the halves.

Would we be best suited in the long run with Hodgo in the halves if his knees are better.
Moylan at fullback hopefully being given quality timed passes and Dugan / Val on the right side .
The would be VERY strong together .
The problem being Katoa's return .
Any thoughts ?

They can swap as many backs around as they like but it will make sweet FA difference if they get dominated through the middle again.

Well if Mitchell said it then we should definitely go with it.

Seriously, his defence is not an issue.

I don’t think Val should be dropped after one game. Two or three more like Friday than yes, move him to wing.

Pros and cons for shifting Val back to wing

Pros
* Val is a class winger, better than anyone else we have on the flank
* Brings Dugan into the game more
* kick returns will be stronger with both Val and Dugan returning the ball
* opens up a spot for Ramien, which I believe balances the squad better

Cons
* Val leaves to play for another club

Even if he gets back to his normal self at fullback against the dragons that's nothing special then he is back on the clock from round 3 to show the continued improvement and development in the position Flanno has been hoping for. How long that clock runs for, the season, another month who knows

He didn't say his defense was the issue , more that it detracted from his attack ,
A ball playing fullback isn't the worse scenario .

I don't think it will mate, give him a bit of time. Should Thurston be moved to fullback?

The good players handle it as will Moylan. Be patient.
