Just in time. Gave a heap out to some villages at Christmas (while I could still sort of say Bukuya was a Shark)

Do the kids up there mainly follow the same NRL side or is it spread evenly across the teams?

Sort of determined by whatever merch they can get their hands on. Second hand Australian clothing stores are big business over here and any NRL stuff is snapped up very quick. The first Tshirt or jersey a kid is bought (because it's there and cheap) might well be the team they follow for life. It's pretty evenly spread.

I'm hoping that by throwing a heap of Sharks merch out there (and new stuff at that) I can sway a few. The posters that Gil organised for me last year are great. I revisit some villages and the posters are still on walls. The 'shark' is a pretty good match with Fiji. If any of you have been here and seen or done the Shark Dive of Beqa you'll know what I'm talking about. There are some very strong myths and links relating to sharks, and some incredible stories of a kinship between some villages and sharks.

I went to Vanuatu and took a Sharks footy over to give a school we were visiting. The teacher snatched it up with the biggest smile on his face and wouldnt let it go.

Thanks Sixgill. I guess Fijian players cracking first grade would also make a difference to which teams kids follow?

ET stand is covered, peter burns stand isn't. Both are good.

Yeah just saw that Sharkstragic cheers. Are the seats in the lower ET stand pretty decent? Or would Peter Burns stand be better?

Isn't the ET stand sold out to members though....of the upper class variety ;-)

If you buy a ticket now you should get close to halfway in PB stand if nothing available in the ET.

Both good. Higher up in PB but no cover....cheaper though for us peasant members who can't afford the ET stand.

Both are equally as good from my experience but given the time the game would be played personally I'd go pb. A bit cheaper and great seats when the sun doesn't ruin it going over the upper et stand.

Seriously though, it's a long trek. I would go ferry to Circular Quay and then train to Wooloware.
