we all know the sharks were robbed by bad ref decisions, how bad would it being a panthers supporter knowing your team should be in 8th spot on the ladder and just have to win their last game to ensure a finals berth, but instead are ninth 1 point behind 7th and 8 th placed teams and have to win and rely on one these teams losing to make the 8?

If a team has to rely on another team which is coming second last to win, they don't deserve to be there anyway.
In saying that though, I would have liked to have seen Wests in the top 8. They can play some exciting football and it would have been good to watch them for another week or so.

well lets just hope the wrong team does not get the spoon, we should have won yesturday and roosters should have got the spoon. we may still avoid it but how wrong would it be if the roosters fluke a win and we lose to souths and we get the spoon when we should have already avoided it.
Not to sure we don't deserve it. we did lose to the roosters both times this year...........

I want the ref sacked . could care less about who makes it in or who misses the eight the refing this year has been beyond poor and imo all refs should be droped from nrl duties get rid of this two ref crap get rid of the video ref all together. one ref two touchies let the card fall where they may .REFS SUCK never liked them when i played don't like them now .to err is human but to really f@@# things up just count on a ref .

Im am not sure how much the Tiger win last night may have swayed results but you would be really pissed if the ref who farked us over has costed them a spot in the finals.
true we did lose both games to roosters but should have beaten manly but were robbed, that should have been enough to avoid spoon and if we get the spoon no one is going to remember the horror season we had or the bad ref calls in the game vs manly
i agree i think the problem is with the 2 ref system we have refs who would not be ref in first grade if not for 2 ref system and if you happen to be near the bottom of the table you get the inexperienced refs who are more likely to make mistakes

So yeah it affects them fairly heavily. The worst thing is ****ing Manly being given a free ride, those pricks don't deserve it.
