Yes things have gone a bit quiet, I have a suspicion he may be off the books. If so, I hope he gets another chance elsewhere. A champion off the field.

Apparently he was mentioned in a membership presentation earlier in the year. They said he is still recovering from injury, and is on a full time train and trial contract ($1,000/week) while he does his recovery.
He was also mentioned in the outside backs write-up on 22 January, and was reported by Fox as being part of the Sharks pre-season training squad.
Chances are has been training, but rehab training is done solo away from the main group so that would explain why he didn't show up in any pre-season photos. Hopefully he gets back in action soon.

Rivett and Dykes both look pretty good throughout these clips, another who got my attention was Luke Lewis the 11 who looked good and glancing back at team lists look like he's the captain, Parker. Had two tackles I'd like to see him have made but overall he showed up in the highlights for the right reason plenty.

If it his foot/ankle he wouldn't necessarily have any. You come out of a moon boot several months before you can resume running, and it is probably several more before you can have contact.
