No 11 not listed in the team unless he was down as a different Jersey. Not overly big, but stocky and an excellent link man out wide. Indicates he did play numbered position. They might have been missing a few. For mine he was the only player that really stood out, whereas last time i watched this age group Sharks team live , Trindall Hazelton and Willton for mine looked like they had NRL potential

The official team list has Tom Rodwell as having played in #11. Brett's son. He's definitely stocky with light hair. Wore 11 and played WING according to the team list, but it's possible he played centre or back row. It's an online system and sometimes on that system when people do a swap they don't bother moving blokes to their proper positions.

He's been highly rated coming through the school system I believe. Is apparently quite close with Colquhoun having come through the same schoo and same junior club, and has made many of the same rep teams. We pinched Rodwell from the Dragons/Steelers system.

I'd say it's him you are talking about. Teams get fined if they fudge up the jersey numbers.

Boothroyd is moreso what you'd call a ranga. He's listed as having worn #12. He goes well too.

Boothroyd is the 12 in these clips (I believe), that him? (sharks are first game)
https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2022/03/28/jersey-flegg-cup-highlights-round-three/

But Round 1 (Sharks from 1.40) a similar looking guy (Kai Parker) is in 11

Pretty sure Parker is injured. Is the captain and trained with the NRL team in pre-season but hand played since Rd3.

Sorry i cant be more specific. Was not the ginger playing 12 in that clip. He was playing wide, and now i see 11 on the Team list today NSWRL is Rodwell, and he's listed now as winger. I thought he was playing Very wide SR:oops: but was a small forward. Anyway yes he went well i thought, from good backline shapes.. Was a bit disappointed in the forwards as they were up against 2 17yos in the FR/bench first change and and an 18yo in the opposition ( all SG Ball) , but maybe Sharkies also were the same.

Rodwell played last year and started this year on the wing, has been named in the back row the past couple of weeks. Only went back to the wing this week with Stonestreet playing for Jets.

There was only one 2003-born player in the Sharks line-up (Jed Hardy) but there were a lot of guys missing from what you'd consider their best 17. Lots of depth guys being used, but all are 2002 or 2001 born players.

Edit... and here are the highlights. Sharks @ 3:45

Rodwell (in the headgear) wore #11 and played left wing.

Hard to mistake headgear for red hair. Maybe you are thinking the #13. Ryan Dodson. He has ginger-ish hair. #10 Dakin has fair hair, but is the opposite of "stocky", and #21 Demeio is blonde but plays hooker.

He never said the guy wasn’t in head gear I guess

Although it does sound like he watched the wrong field

With the condition of his eyes I'm just glad he made it home safe from the 2+ hours of driving.

Round 12 lowlights.

Sharks got belted 40-0. Some SOFT tries in there. Coach wouldn't be happy with lack of effort on some of them. Even on the last one they let the bloke run around under the black dot when they could easily have kept him to a corner.

Game is @ 2:35.

Kobie Wilson is also back from injury. He played for CC last week. Not sure whether he gets a gig this year ahead of Healey and Demeio - but I expect he is training with the squad.

Flegg won 16-12 on the weekend.

Sitting nicely in 4th. 3 points clear of 5th, but 3 behind 3rd.

Could cement a spot with a win next week against 5th place Panthers.

Pickering returned from injury in this game :)

Rivett was 0 from 4 with the boot, and came off with 15 to go and didn’t return. No idea whether he was hooked, rested or injured.

Flegg highlights Round 16 vs Bulldogs. Sharks @ 2.20-ish.

Some nice involvement from Rivett and Healey. Nice to see Kyle Pickering back healthy and playing some good footy too. He's looking huge.

How's the ref on the last Sharks try? Stonestreet is a mile offside. Touchie calls "right side all in front". Ref says "thank you" and then "keep going, I'm happy". Bulldogs must have been pissed.
