Absolutly incredible idea fitz, with this sort of thinking i'm sure the Sharks football club with love to hire you for maybe an 'event manager' position or something else that requires creative thinking.
This idea has three main pro's.
First being that we, the sharks fans, are pouring money into the club which so badly needs it. Who knows, maybe one day the $1500 we invested at the club with help them out when they badly need it.
Secondly, having the sharksforever.com url printed on the members jersey and the wall of support plaque will advertise the site. Which will increase members, which in turn we can encourage them to spend money at the sharks, and question if they live in the shire, why don't they turn up to more games! I don't know how many sites can promote and get run so well without any advertising anywhere on the site.
Finally, I don't know whether this was a reason why this idea was implemented, but it shows the Sharks football club that we can be an important part of their future plans. And if the Sharks think that, then who knows how that will benefit sharksforever?

Thanks to everyone who contributed to these great intiatives. As Sharks fans, we need to stand shoulder to shoulder, brother in arms against whatever is thrown at us.
With blokes like Fitz and all the other loyal members on Sharks Forever, I would confidently march against the enemy lines knowing there is no battle that is beyond us! :good:

I'm not taking full credit for the idea... it was something that I was thinking about and then Rob Shark posted in the wall of support thread.
Later, a group of us discussed it playing cards one night... I think it was Mods, Caps, Zak, Iron and me.
Just goes to show you that great things can happen when the group works together as a team.
