Okay people, after speaking to Fitz on Sunday, I have organised the tickets to be given away for tonights game against the Bunnies.
Given it was short notice, I took the quickest option which was to dress up in all my Sharks supporters gear (looking "like a tool", was how my wife put it!) and went along to the morning assembly at Loftus Public School and made an announcement that anyone who was a Sharkies fan and wants to sit with the CSSC while we have Easter Bunnies for dinner can go in the draw.
One thing I'm sure you will all be glad to hear. When I asked the kids to put their hand up if they were a mighty Sharks fan, at least three quarters of the school put their hand up. This was a great encouragement for me as I was worrying it would be alot less.
When I announced what the prize would be, the kids seemed really excited and there was a massive amount of interest, so that is a great sign for the Club. The grassroots support is out there, we just have to lock 'em in. (By the way, quite a few of the teachers asked me if they could go in the draw too!)
So, tonights lucky winners will be a kid from Loftus Public School and a parent. They will be sitting in Bay 12: Row F, seats 4 & 5. If you are in the CSSC and you are at the game tonight, make sure you say "G'day" and make them feel welcome. I think this will go a long way towards promoting the team in our local community.:cheers
