My son has just returned from Vancouver for xmas. Says when he wears his sharks jersey over there, often gets a "go the sharkies".

I'm giving him one of the "CRONU11A" bumper stickers to put on his truck when he goes back over. Spreading the word to all 4 corners!!!!

I was wearing my Sharkies Jacket through the Brisbane airport a few years back and I thought I was gonna get mobbed! Might have something to do with the fact that our boys had beaten the Broncs at Shark park the night before :glasses-cool:

They must be mnc, cause I live just a little bit north of Forster and Sharks supporters up here are as rare as hen's teeth.

I was happily surprised to discover I work with an old Sharks supporter when I recently started a new job and the kids former school principal would say 'Go Sharkies' at the assemblies but that's about it up here.

Usually I hear a soft groan when others see my Cronulla paraphernalia and I swiftly snap my head around and say 'You're not a rotten St George supporter, are you?' The answer I receive is usually in the affirmative.

lol Boom Boom yesterday i got asked why I support the sharks had a sharky polo shirt on I said it could be worse I could support St George the guy laughed and said fair point.

I had never thought of it before but I think a lot of Bronco supporters are still pissed off that St George took their coach from them so I will play on that from now on .

Just saw on 10 news a story about the floods in Rockhampton, there was a guy wearing a Sharks jersey helping people get in to a rescue boat.

On that, I hope everyone up there gets some relief soon

yeah i was at the rock pool with the kids today and seen a guy in a 2010 training singlet

i always see a guy that works at woolies walking to work in sharks gear!!

As for those who live at Forster/Taree, well, even though I go to all the home games I can assure you that the more than 4 hour drive is really unappealing, especially when you have to travel with kids.

I am sooooo jealous of my sister who lives in cronulla and can so easily go to the games and make it home the same night.

There really is no excuse for locals who claim to support the Sharks not bothering to attend the home games.Don't they know how lucky they are?

This day and age, a day out at the footy is very expensive. No worries for me this year. My girlfriend got me a ticketing Sharks membership this year for Chrissy, THE girlfriend! Now I have to work out how to sneak food and beer in. The prices are just to ridiculous.

i get to a few

my nan lives in miranda so i have a place to stay but i have 4 kids and thats makes it a bit harder to the games
