We've made what 7 pretty good signings so far this year. Now given our previous 24 months (and a dismal start to 2011, we've done real well to get who we've gotten) I think 1 thing drawing them in is Gallen, I think people are noticing what he is doing and how much of it he is doing, and people can see brighter futures with him.

i think ur right Gallen would be a big draw especially for forwards and halfbacks, i know snowden and douglas have learnt alot from him and i spose he plays so hard, you have to play good being around him so you don't look *****, and have you noticed how over the years we've struggled its never really been in the forwards.

Douglas is our big loss, so too Snowden, but ive always considered Douglas the better of the 2. However, we havent shown signs of missing Snowden in the last few weeks, which is great. As long as our forwards are committed and fit, we'll be right

Whist losing Dougie and Kade is a big loss, I must say i think I am happier with our whole prop rotation for next year than I am this year.

Hard to gauge how the loss of Douglas will affect us given we haven't experienced a Douglas-less Sharks since he made grade.

Yeah that is how I am feeling now. I feel our starting props will be worse than what we currently have but our overall rotation will be better and our backrow will be awesome so our forward pack will still be damn intimidating.

This might not go down well in here, but I would rather be going into Mondays game with next years prop rotation than the current one. We lose to much go forward when the starters get rested

I would rather go into the dragons game with our current rotation (assuming that means snowy) as we need the big names for a game like this but over the course of a season I would rather next years props.

id put johnny mannah into start, and id tell him he has 60 minutes to show why he should be a shark next year, because with green now coming, we have awesome depth next year. gibbs, fifita(massively excited by his signing, could be a super star.), tafua, green, vave, clayton, cordoba(is he signed for next year?), and taggers, i don't know if we need him. he might stand up against dragons and have a blinder.

The Sharks want to keep Johnny, but we simply have no room for him next year in the cap. I think Vave's heading down the same path. Parra would probably grab Johnny.

I'm sure that if the sharks wanted to keep mannah he would of been re-signed before we signed green or taufua

What gives you that idea?

We've made a competitive offer to Mannah.
