Never in the history of this message board has he been referred to as Shane. And 4 times no less. We are growing

There's two Flanno's now, we have to differentiate.

I personally prefer Flanno and Flanju

i cant see how we can be dirty

- he made contact with the club when suspended
- he is involved in the cap breach

this is on him, again, and he didnt learn his lesson

What I don't get, if you're too believe the media reports

- Why contact the club if you're not meant to. use Gmail, meet in person etc. There's so many other ways to stay in contact but not be traced.
- It takes two to talk, did someone at the club initiate the conversation ? If it was Flanno initiating it you'd hope the club would direct him to not email this address etc (see Gmail comments)
- If the club initiated it then why are they doing that ? if it's for the 2015 season wasn't he allowed to ?

This whole self reporting but then they find these email from Flanno contacting the club is suss to me.

I've seen it written that the specific issue was with him talking about 2015, and that he was allowed to talk about 2015

Why can't you just this once say, "Yeah mate, sorry, my mistake. All good."

Or is that too hard for you?

Did you seriously draft that up in Word to sound less retarded? It didn't work.
Microsoft Office compatible blue tooth Etch A Sketch running in conjunction with speech to text. The software does it's best to interpret

I'm more interested in are we willing to wait for him this time around, should he get 1 year again, are we really going to install a caretaker coach for a year and then back him again?

I'm not sure many teams would do that.

All things considered with what has come to light recently, it's no surprise the club hadn't extended his contract earlier in the year.

Avoids paying him $$$ to sit at home (AGAIN ffs) and frankly if he copped another ban, premiership winner or not I wouldn't want him back even if he wasn't contracted during a potential ban. That would be it for me, enough.
Tin foil long shot conspiracy time - some Shark higher ups made sure this info came out to put the pressure on to get Flanno gone...

I think Morris is a bit more ambitious than Sharp was when he was given the job.

Sharp was really winding down his career. He didn't even want it.

Agree Sharp and Sheps too didn't want a bar of it. JMO has Jason Taylor MK2 written over him though, young, ambitious, has ideas but ultimately out of their depth. I don't want him managing FG at this stage if it can at all be avoided.

Soon to be referred to as "Controversial former Sharks Head Coach and local plumber Flanagan"

I've seen it written that the specific issue was with him talking about 2015, and that he was allowed to talk about 2015

Needed to use code words for players and change the year to 2009 to make it look like a retrospective wish list under the Sticky Regime

If Flanno either agrees with or worse, coaches, that Gal gets 2 hit ups per set and particularly pisses possession against the wall with a 4th tackle hit up, then I hope he gets life.

Yes why would we want a premiership winning coach. Flanno has zero idea.

Unfortunately I think the Flanno era will be over as of this afternoon but what I'll be frustrated with, the NRL will terminate coaches contracts even just after smaller issues like this but they only fine players that are charged & found guilty of things like sexual assault, physical abuse etc. Flanagan should just be heavily fined I think if he is found guilty.

Anyone know what time the hearing is?

It wasn't a hearing I thought, just a ARLC meeting where the topic of Flanno was going to be an Agenda item. When a possible punishment is or isn't released I'm not sure.

Clearly it'll get leaked to the media first no doubt

Yeah I got that wrong, it is just a meeting I read later. It said the results wont be seen until tomorrow but I wouldnt be surprised if the media get onto it after the meeting.
