I'll re-iterate what I said before - we copped outrageous refereeing in the first 20, but our forwards in that stanza should hand their pay cheques back.

Absolute bludgers in defence.

NO. Someone should tell him to give the kicking away. Very good player but he needs to give up on the kicking.

Couldn't agree more. Waddo has 1/10 good kicks. Focus on running the ball, not kicking it. Always kicks too heavy.

Oh well boys that was heartbreaking. The same thing happened in that 3rd origin game, Thurston with possession will just destroy any team.

The refereeing was disgustingly bad, we got way too fatigued way too early. We also had blokes play poorly which hadn't been happening. Lewis has a shocker, Robson was atrocious even for him.

On the season: We did alright without a halfback. At the start of the year I was hoping for a week 2 of finals, and we got that. Didn't look likely after losing our first 4. Onwards and upwards to next year.

Tonight, we were simply exposed. It took a game like this to realise how delusional it was the think a hack like our half back could match it with the game's elite.

I often wonder if losing like this is better than losing in say, golden point, at least in the short term.... I'm not sure.

I know a lot of you guys are absolutely wasted, look after yourselves tonight and remember, it was just a game, life goes on.

Ennis wasn't the problem. He made a ****-load of tackles, probably about 60 or something. Fifita also had an absolutely blinder, holy crap I want to look at his stats.

We were also outclassed by Paul Green, our forwards were outmuscled and we kept dropping the ball

So much to go through here....

Our team was overawed. The rookies showed us how hard an occasion like this can be for a first timers. Some of our senior players showed they're a bit long in the tooth.

The Cowboys were tougher and smarter.

But I'm not so disappointed. Sure the score line was a blow out, but it was a great season all things considered. We're not mentally with the top teams, but if we fixed that they be no stopping us. The talent is there.

I know the Sharks were losing 30 something nil in the 2nd half but some really stupid decision.

Yeah I'm not surprised. I can't believe Fifita can do so much work, he would've only been out there for like 50 minutes. That dude is a freak when his head is right.

I disagree evertonshark. We mightn't be main contenders sure, but our squad next season will look superb. There aren't any teams that wouldn't have gotten smashed out there tonight.
