The butthurt from their players and supporters will be all time. I see us pulling out our best and most complete performance of the year for this one. Go Sharkies!! :hoping

our best performance of the season was last weekend, minus the final 10 (the play for 70 minutes line makes a birth)

our second best performance of the season was at home against the cows

they could only score off kicks that game, and 18 points flattered them.

we match up well with them, but as i previously said, its their halves that separate us

yep no arguments there....we just got to play to our strengths and hope our halves hold their own like last week......we can get them on the edges this week

did you see jt and thaiday collapse at the end of the game? i was exhausted watching the replay! if the cowboys can maintain that intensity then we are in a bit of trouble but i think the weather and humidity will make for a slower game

just need to stop with the ruck penalties to give them a leg up.

This may be what tips things in their favour slightly. They live and train in these conditions so they'll be used to it. Will be more of a drain on us.

I still think our best performance of the season was against the doggies at doggies and the canberra game.

I have no doubt we will win this game. It's the storm game that makes me shaky they are just our hoodoo team in prelim finals (2008) if we beat storm in prelim we win grand final.

I hope you're right mate but I need to ask, how long have you been a Sharkies fan?

Any support for the idea of setting up a Live feed From sharkies leagues club ( showing all the fan support ) to a big screen set up in the Sharks dressing sheds at Smile stadium Townsville ??? Wouldn't be hard to set up. Could provide a lift for the players at half time !

Been going for sharks since I was 5 but my memory of the 90's is that great considering in 1999 I was 9-10 years old but I did rectify my answer. I remember crying in 1999 after we lost though actually when I was a kid losing to manly or Bulldogs was always tough having family who go for them I cop a lot of ****

I noticed in 1 of our games vs them this year whenever beale got early ball he stepped linnett quite easily a few times. Running those crash ball type plays would be a waste of time on that side though

Had been thinking about this and I reckon that it lessens the impact a little that the game against the Bunnies was in the afternoon and that this weekend we're playing at night.

I'm expecting that it will be 20 - 22 degrees by the time we take the field. Will be humid of course.

Glad it's not a day game!

Weirdly calm about the footy this week, after last season then the 0/4 start, to make the finals was going to take a great effort we now have made it into week 2, not that I want it to finish this week but we have had a great ride thus far, hope we knock off the cows... No controversy just good hard at it full on 80min game of footy.
