The sad reality is thus:

- We apparently have 300k this year.
- Carneys price apparently goes up 300k next year. So back to zero.
- Cap apparently going up 600k next year, sweet we have 600k to play with now.
- We signed Gordon. Probably on 300k. So 300k left.
- Graham would have been upgraded.

Looks like we have maybe 300k to spend next year. If you look at players off contract think of it that you can use 300k to upgrade them. So 300k may be enough to upgrade Best to Jennings, but not be able to upgrade anyone else (either retain or replace with a player on the same money).

Best case scenario IMO we have one upgrade left in us at best. Hopefully we'll be using that to upgrade Best, or retain Best and upgrade one or two wingers.

My info was we were $300k under the cap before Kelly was cut so there's a bit more to spend depending with his contract.
Also, what is the current cap, is it $4.2 or $4.4 million? I know clubs are working on the belief that the salary cap will be $5 million next season.

Guys how many times have we talked about dis, but don't forget that any notable players Gallen Smith Carney etc most probably have it in their contracts that if the cap heads up by 10% there contracts do as well just keep that in mind before you go spending it all lol.
