Fair enough, we don't really get the heat you guys get either so that's pretty easy. The cold in the middle of winter is ****ed though, I do go into the gym and run in there every now and then during winter.

I'm OK in the heat when it comes to exercising as you're going to sweat either way, hate the heat at other times though.

Winter in Sydney isn't really winter, doesn't get very cold.

We're the opposite here. Outside of a couple of freak days a year it doesn't really get hot here but winter is a prick. (There's much colder places though)

I watched a running doco on the weekend. One of the guys does 320km per week. That is insane.

**** that for a joke. I'm going to commit to running either 50 or 100km in March (over the course of the month) for a local charity, haven't made up my mind on which one yet thinking probably the 100km.

I tried to go for a run a couple weeks ago and only lasted 3k lol. Might give this C25k thing a go.

I have downloaded the App and ready to roll.

Did the same. Put on way too much weight post wedding eating ****.
Have you boys stuck with it?

Chad/Snow you boys still going strong?

I hit my first speed bump a last monday (hurt my ankle playing basketball) got back out for my first run after it yesterday but pulled up pretty quickly as the ankle wasn't quite ready. I'm back under the 100kg mark though.

I've dropped about 11-12 kilos through mainly diet and swimming over the last few months. Down to 100kgs for the first time in about 10 years.

Like chadley I've cut out the soft drinks completely and only drink water now.

Great stuff and keep it going.

I have derailed myself slightly by going a bit to hard and stuffing the ankle for a few weeks. I just restarted the Couch25K :(

I've been doing a 2 hour walk every arvo for the last week. Been picking up the pace every day but not up to running yet.

Going to keep at it though.
