More likely option is dissolve the Brumbies and disperse the talent

Okay. I'm not really following Union, but with the Rebels gone, the Brumbies under threat and the game close to being on life support, what's the pathway for young professionals, since the number of top teams is decreasing (or about to)?
I suppose an answer is League, but that's not exactly a serious option for most.

It isn’t leagues expanding

Best way to not get beat by the all blacks is never play them

didn't quite get what you mean, mate. Say, there's a young prop or 2nd rower who dreams of making it. If the opportunities dry up (because fewer spots opened), what does he do besides giving the game up or going overseas?
That's the thing I don't get with Union in Australia. I understand the need to try and stay afloat because the current business model (if any) is doomed, but this is partly at the expense of the player pool, isn't it?
And for the vast majority of these players, League is not a viable option.

Typo
‘It is, Leagues expanding’

If there’s less pro union teams but more pro league teams it does become a serious option for many

Bloody good game of Rugby on nine now. Wallabies vs All blacks in NZ. Wallabies playing the best they have played for a while.

We think we are up against it with the Riff, the Wallabies havent won in NZ since 2001 and were in front for most of the game so far. Its a good game. Not a snooze fest.

One good half and then they decided to have a rest. Smart thinking. Save the legs for their next game in 2 weeks.

They had no choice but to pick him given the ridiculous money they're paying.
8 mil over 5 years.

contract is for 3 years but there’s a 2 year extension built in also.

We won’t see him back in the nrl anytime soon. Will probably end up being bit like SBW. Bounces back and forth a bit between codes.

Yep, dumb. You could understand if it was for Cleary.

Except SBW coming back was probably 10x as interesting as if Sua'ali'i does, unless he really goes back for Union then leaves them
