Last nights performance was not a good one. I'm not going to single out anyone as it was a team effort.

Souffs punished us all over the park, we were lucky to only loose by 6.

I hope the boys regroup and put last night behind them and concentrate for the game on Sunday

I don't think Carney will be a good goal kicker in pressure situations in the finals. Hope I am wrong.

On another note, I am never going to the death star ever again unless it is a finals game. Been to Leichardt, Penrith and Canberra this season and they were all great days out, but trips to the death star are just horrible, I hate that place. Shame I can't support the Sharks on those occasions but the NRL playing rabbits and dogs there is an embarrassment to the game.

Made that kick against the rabbits to keep the game somewhat alive for us, i think it was his only kick this season his hit from touch maybe he can only nail pressure ones?

I have read quite a few different post's on here whilst at work... working... about 8 pages after the full time siren... And i though i talked a heap of ****... hahaha

IMO, it was Sharks v Inglis, you take him out of the game, even with their unbeleivable completion rate, and our bombed tries, we take that game out... Carney and Robson were brilliant, even losing Gal in the 2nd half, didnt really change much, we fought to the death, another few minutes and the game would have been ours!

Bar a few errors, i think we played a solid game against a red hot team. Yes we leaked in quite a few easy tries which needs to be looked at before the Sundays blockbuster!! Storm know we are a grinding team that is just starting to throw the ball around and are looking dangerous, those TC 30-40m long passes reminded me of 08 when Kimmorley was steering the side.. TC is starting to gel with JR and the rest of the team and im liking what i see!

We go into Sundays game with a bit to work on but a heaps on confidence scoring 5 tries, something that hasnt happened in quite a while consistently!! Yes we have leaked 56 points in 2 games, but we have scored 72 points in 2 games.. THATS RIGHT, 2 GAMES!!!! Surely there is a stats man on here that can tell me the last time we did that...

Let the beers flow on Sunday at Shark Park and through the night, the boss knows Monday he wont see me!!

Oh and Tiger.. THANKS! hahaha

Everyone here knows we won't win the premiership or even make the top 4. the most important thing is we improve week to week , win and play finals footy. I think that Pom and Best have always had ability they have just been playing outside mediocre halves and this has done them no favours. With them playing outside Carney this is just showing the skill that they both possess.

I have said it before Mills natural position is centre and he is still adjusting to the wing in NRL first grade. As for Williams I think he would get a start in a few NRL sides he is safe and 99% of the time a good finisher.

I agree
Those that want to knock our current backline of centres and wingers - wouldnt have a fuggin clue
For every game this year not 1 centre or winger has "owned" our combinations! Think about it for a minute - the only winger or centre to cross the line more than ours, was arguably the best winger in the comp i.e N Merritt on Mon night.
This was against our right winger playing on 1 leg

Snow is right on the mark. Anyone death riding us after a 6 point loss to a side who completed 31 of 35 sets (or something like that) have rocks in their head. We almost friggen won a game where we had numerous questionable penalties against us, our winger dropped the ball twice with the line open, we through an intercept and our captian/leader went off with 25mins to go.

People whinge when we win 17-14 or 15-14 that we have no attack then we put 44 and 28 points on in 2 weekends in they still whinge!

I am actually taking a lot more out of that loss than some of the wins we have had. Despite being well below our best, the only difference was goal kicking.....
Exactly! Souths play with a killer completion rate and an incredible performance from Inglis, but they still can't bury us. They have a lot more cause for concern than we do.
