Not to mention, I bet the refs didn't even see the obstruction live. Just go along with a try because they didn't see enough of it to judge and let the video ref check it out.
Just because a ref awards a try doesn't mean he thinks that there wasn't an obstruction, if he didn't see it, he would award try by default and then get it checked.
