Don't care what we wheel out of the garage, just want to win nothing better than winning on a Friday night always sets up a great weekend. Enjoy sitting back and watching the rest of the games knowing we have ready got the 2 points.

Morale and confidence will have lifted after Sunday's victory but by no means are we are shoe in for a win against the knights although I remain hopeful of the 2 points in what will be a tough game

The Roosters were woeful and butchered multiple trys, constantly handed us back possession, yet the difference came down to a moment of brilliance from our young gun Bird. Take nothing away from us it was a great win and enjoyed every minute of it. We deserved the win but we scraped by in the end. Anyways one step at a time.

Having said all that , this team has a bad habit of displaying significant improvement only to turn to **** and trot out the same ole sharks rubbish the week after, almost as if the switch was flicked back the other way. We have all seen this in the years gone past.

We haven't played well at Remondis in a very long time either and frankly this team's specialty is a good old home crowd choke

If Sunday's team with their aggressive attitude and rock solid ball control and discipline turn up on Friday we are in with a big chance. If Flanno can have the team replicate everything that worked well for us last week I will be impressed and highly encouraged that we are on a better path. The players need to consolidate last weeks win but remain level headed and mentally sound for the next game, not fall back into old rhythms.

I'm tipping the sharks, but i'm prepared for bitter disappointment as well

Is true gards.. many times we are hopeful they've turned a corner only for the things that frustrate us the most to re-appear the very next game ie gallen to become a halfback again etc

tbh I will be quite surprised if we aren't dropping ball, pushing offloads and retreating in defense

not being negative, just gut feel and also something about playing at Remondis we just seem to stink it up

If they manage to build on Sunday's performance I will be ecstatic

mate, ive had this feeling so many times before.

I think last year it was the Knights game the week after the Broncos then Roosters come backs.....we came out with an 18-0 lead and lost 30-18 or some ****. I think this is one of our key areas that need focus when we do perform, is that we dont take the foot off the gas the next week. Come out and stun the next side.

Im tipping a loss, however after seeing the way we played on Sunday, anything is possible, we basically didnt give Roosters any chance at all until the 65th minute or so. Would love to hold Newy to nil

So we're now paying $1.74. People have fallen off the Newcastle bandwagon pretty fast.

I didn't see the last weeks game, but I'm going to trust the side to take the Knights.

I'm putting my faith in Holmes and the new Bird.

That is seriously dumb betting. Knights played as bad as the roosters did in attack and the Dragons defended really well. The Knights are quite likely to play 10 times better then they did last week as this trip holds no fear for them.

We have to lift a gear to win this game.

Yeah if you were a serious punter you'd be getting on them at $2.10.

Dunno, the Knights have won 2 very close games and 2 games against sides with significant players injured (Tomkins & Hurrell, Segeyaro & Soward). They might be the pretenders of 2015, like Gold Coast were early last season.

Maybe, but they're only playing us.

the fact they are televising this game after the brisbane game in nsw is a ****ing joke.

You can't blame channel 9. I'm betting they will get a larger audience for Brisbane v Roosters.

I blame the NRL. Having two games on the Friday night at the same time is their fault and it's ****ed up.
