Knights have been excellent at targeting halves in the defensive line this year thus far. Gave Wallace a terrible time in Newcastle and also the Titans halves up there. Will be interesting to see how Bird and Robbo ( a decent defender) handle this on Friday knight. No Scott helps our cause. I can remember last year in Newcastle when we had Ayshford and Prior getting ass spanked by BJ Leiluia ( apologies for spelling) all game. Just hope we limit the space they get. D line moves forward and we limit mistakes like last weekend.

I get the feeling that players will get sick of running at Bird, he's a tough young fella and I reckon he'd lap up the opportunity to put in a few extra big hits under the ribs

From NRL.com "Jayson Bukuya, who was dropped last week after failing to comply with the club's conditioning standards."

What did he do? Not enough pushups?

TBH doesn;t surprise, When Boogs is playing well he is a star, when he is a bit out of sorts his attitude really stinks. A big reason Tohu ran over him all night a few weeks ago. No ticker sometimes.

Looks like many said, extended bench so he can make decisions later. Still anyone's guess as to the final make up.

Is this...is this what it feels like not to rage over the team list? Is this real life?

hope that's how they run out 1-17 but the fact flanno said he will keep people guessing till Friday scares me

Going to be interesting to see how flanno uses barba with the bench rotation, personally I'd bring him on at the 20ish minute mark for one of the props, move gal to prop, bird to a roving role and barba to 5/8

Yeah seems to be a big lump capable of looking after himself. Hopefully we can control the pill and his work is done with the pill rather than defending. For what it's worth I think Barba on bench is a good move at this point. If he gets on fresh against a tiring defence he may rediscover his mojo. God I hope we win this game!

Makes a bit of a mockery out of naming teams but guess that's just the way it is.

Yeah i think the naming teams is purely for gambling odds nowadays haha.

Flanno throws 100g on the knights after naming a good team then hooks all the stars haha

Interesting about bakuya, i hope every player gets that treatment

The NRL all but moved to Wednesday team releases but Big League or League Week or both kicked up a stink about not being able to get line ups printed in time. But trust no team sheet till an hour before kickoff.

This is a first for me... Go easy SF'ers...

1. Barba
2. Holmes
3. Feki
4. Beale
5. Gordon
6. Bird
7. Robbo
8 on, as listed.

This gives you outrageous strike power, excellent defence, and the ability to switch positions as required. Barba/Holmes can swap to mix up the attack ( think I'd rate Holmes higher in defence).

I think Barba would thrive in amongst this youthful, dynamic backline, and I'm not prepared to leave him out of my starting squad. Interchange would be a waste, and it places players arguably on their most suitable positions.

The only doubt for me is Feki... I think his leap is an issue, so maybe he is a centre? He's so strong with the ball I'd be willing to play him out of position to keep him in the squad. Defensively he's as good as Leutele, So worth a shot.

lol. I know what you mean. This is two weeks in a row I won't have anything to rant and rave about at work on a Wednesday. Might get some work done.

Na I would leave him out for the first 20mins then let him rove as to keep the opposition constantly guessing.

I think we should be attacking Gagai's side. His one on one defence still looks dodgy.

It was irritating trying to pick my fantasy league team back in the day
