Very dissapointing game, one we should of won. Its been mentioned previously but for me the dissapointing aspects and why I think we lost mostly come from;
Morris - we miss him badly, his direction and kicking game is needed.
Graham - He's not a halfback, and we need to find a replacement. If not this year then certainly next year. His kicking game is ridiculous. Those who said Townsends kicking game was terrible, yeah sure maybe it was but they scored a try of a grubber and he forced a drop out. When he kicked to a play on the full he stripped the ball, when Graham kicked the ball to a player Mullen ran 80m. So maybe Townsend for next year, I think its to early to bring him in this year.
Bench - seriously what is Flanno doing, starting to lose faith in him. He brings off Snowden, Douglas and Toups (injured I know, but he would of taken Smith off normally) all at the same pretty much and you can instantly tell when they're gone.
Our bench forwards aren't good enough for him to do that. he needs to stagger the interchange more. Newcastle scored their last three tries during that period. Bring them back on and they dont score. Three losses in a row, I would drop one of the benchies.
Missed tackles - Snowden 8 and Smith 6, with not a large workload to offset it either. We can't afford two of our best players to miss that many. We seemed to drop off tackles way to easily.
On a positive note I thought Douglas was awesome. Williams is a rock. Gardner is playing good consistant footy. Kelly is coming along nicely, is missing alot of tackles but he will get better.

A couple of things TS, I am not going to throw Graham under a bus just yet, He just needs to improve his kicking game and 5th tackle options. He is going ok bar that.
Snowden played 65-70 minutes of that game, and all of the first half, maybe too long? Mannah only played 14, and 4 minutes last week. Maybe look to giving Vave a run. Or even Clayton.

I have been thinking the same thing the past 2 weeks. Is anyone here actually in the know and can pass this message on to Flano? lol. because obviously he is blind to the fact or he wouldn't be doing it.

look, you're probably right and I am just venting at a clear issue I think we have. He's our best option at the moment but he need to improve his kicking game. Give Kelly more attacking kicks or something as the Knights really targetted him.

I would swap Douglas and Snowden if that was the case. Kade adds more mongrel and if we were to need that in the early exchanges of the game i would prefer him to be there than to not be there.
