Sharks pack may own, but your backline and halves aren't even in the same league. I will predict a Knights win at home. Even with a really young and untried squad they played some exceptional attacking football in their 22 all draw with NZ and the 72 - 0 win the other day.

Yes we have ahalf that is capable of great things, just needs a decent partner to see him shine, Gidley partnered him last season at the end and we won the majority of our games. We showed up the second game so it all panned out equal. That is how I see the backlines.

1. Gardner > Mcdonnell
2. Uate > Whoever your winger is
3. Sau > Pomeroy
4. Macdougall = Collis (equal)
5. Mcmanus > Gordon
6. Mullen > Graham
7. Gidley > Porter

Matty we can't claim to have a better backline then theirs.

1 Gidley
2 Uate
3 Sau
4 MacDougall
5 McManus

1 Gardner
2 Mills
3 Best
4 Collis
5 Stapleton

I don't know about you but I think their backline is a fair bit better then ours.

I do have to agree that theirs halves are pretty bad but. Unless Beau Henry steps up their halves are in trouble. Mullen isn't good enough to carry them.

I forgot about Mcdonnell gee that will help you guys.

i'd say gidley over porter as well, as porter should not be in firsts

I'd say Gidley over Smith and Kelly which are our other options as well Snowman. However I was thinking the same as you that Henry would be their halfback, hence me naming Gidley at fullback.

Over a bunch of amateurs from Fiji!

Beau Henry and Mullen will be a good halves pairing. With luck, Kelly and Graham will be a good halves pairing.

I didn't even know they had played against Fiji. That sounds to me like a bad idea for a trial. Sure you get to attack like crazy but it wouldn't be an accurate representation of where players are at. Also playing against amateurs could also be more risky in regards to injury if they are not fully up to date with the rules.

You think they'll play Gidley in the halves?

Yeah that's true but the Knights fielded a really young and untried side, i have no doubt they would of hit 100 if the fgers were playing.

Depends on how Henry pulls up after the trials and how he develops really. He looks the goods though.
