it is a great read read but to say we "thoroughly outplayed" the tinklers is at best exaggeration and at worst hyperbole bordering on bull*****. we turn up in defence and we win that game. our points diff is only -8 suggesting (along with the now seemingly distant victory over the queens) that the team is capable of doing this. gall and flanno are spot on; we are, at the moment, patchy. let's see if we can play 80 minutes (not 70) week in, week out. if we are still losing, then i'll be really concerned.

go sharks.

OK article but it's a stretch: Knights game had very little in common with the Manly game. We got a few bad calls but I'm happy to cop those as 50/50 calls - the Manly game was just blatant. The biggest difference was that against Manly we were the better team, but yesterday the Knights were the better team.

... and if you are going to write the article, get your facts straight - Pomeroy threw the pass to Williams (which should have been play on because the ball both travelled backwards and Pomeroy was in front of Williams when he caught it).

when johnny gets back, i would make a few in house changes.

8 Cordoba
9 J-Mo
10 Douglas
11 Smith
12 Toops
13 Gallen

14 Snowden
15 Mannah
16 Vave/Clayton
17 Back rower.

this isnt because snowy is leaving, this is so we can keep the mongrel up when dougie is off.
later when dougie comes back on he can go in the second row when we have other props on.
the bench just gives us more forward punch, and we need it, our bench options are just plain crap.

Could not agree more- its patently obvious when our starting props come off we fall in a hole

I could also handle Brod Wright and J Smith swapping

Is Harrigan on drugs? Mental illness is a serious problem no doubt.

FMD says it all doesn't it - Bluey ran three yards and dropped the shoulder into Gards - sets a dangerous precedent

I know this is a late post, but I am bloody damn proud of our boys yesterday, it was amazing. I know it was a heart breaking loss, you could hear my profound language from miles away when the siren was sound, but again I believe it was the refs who cost us the game.

Newcastle were as tired as ****! on thier last legs, about to fold like little girls and we were coming home full steam ahead, then Gards was taken out by a cheap ****, and we were cost the game.

I am SO PROUD of our team, we are playing some darn good football, earning absoloute respect from everyone in the rugby league community.

Bring on the next game! I LOVE THIS CLUB!

Mate why accept mediocrity ??

I agree we were great for about 30-40 mins yesterday and our footy has improved out of sight since Flanno took over , but we should have easily won yesterday and last week .

We can do waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better ( and we will when it clicks and sticks)

thats what i like about you squiddy, you agree with me :D

I'm scared of you thats why :)

Plus I want a chrissie card dude:good:

Agreed, they have MASSIVE lapses in defense, where they dont slow the play of the ball., and it leads to teams cutting us to pieces.
Also our kicking has been crappy

Where are the Stu Flannagan fanboys? hahahaha

Happy to put my hand up as one of those. Flanagan still outplayed Aiton yesterday. The only negative in Flanagan's game was the failure to stop the Hilder offload which lead to the McDonnell try.

Aiton was solid yesterday but had one bad missed tackle on our tryline which was almost a try.

I'd call it even on yesterday's performance, but on what I've seen in the last month I'd rather Flanagan. Go back and watch the first 20 minutes and see how many of Aiton's passes don't go straight to the man. That can make a huge difference.

If you want to use running metres to compare how good a hooker is you'll probably end up with Michael Sullivan being a better player than Benny Elias.

i don't think we are that far away from a big win, sometime over the next couple of weeks we are going to put a solid 80 minutes together & smash some team or teams
like we did Dragons & Panthers, the one thing i have noticed that the last three weeks
we have played teams who have been missing a couple of not more of their regular first
graders could we have a mental block & think we are going to win easily & maybe not be
switched on mentally as we should be

okay I got one question regarding the knights v sharks game,

why the f000ken hen was it not the free to air channel 9 game,

It was head and shoulders a better game (spectator wise) than the boring methodical storm destroying the whoopsy disy I just dropped the ball Panthers
