Well suck me sideways!!
I just hope when barba comes back bird is shifted to the centres or at very least there is a bench spot made for him
I'm impressed mr Flanagan

Go one step further to put a rocket up him, make his bro Dave first change front rower, its about time he realized giving away cheap possession & stupid penalties is not on.

Sadly, i think Andrew is happy to rot on the bench as long as he can. he gets paid a small fortune to drop those footballs after all

I expect to see a lot of kicks aimed at flash since he's marking up on daniel tupou. Also wouldn't surprise me to see the roosters go 2 passes wide off the ruck before kicking to drag the defence out a bit more and leaving flash more isolated, not that we run effective block plays anyway.

Mate he'd probably welcome Dave subbing on first so he could put his feet up on his chair and watch in comfort.

Bloke's attitude is ****ed.

Putting holmes at fullback tells me Flanno is going to put Barba back at 6 when he is back.

Meaning its down to Bird, Ricky and Gerard for the two centre spots.

My money is on Bird and Beale.

Yes, the Poly ET is badly named.

On second thoughts I don't like these changes. What am I going to whinge about after the game now?

I am legit surprised by the lineup. Hoping Bird can handle 5/8th against a Rooster onslaught. Great to see Holmes given the fullback gig. I was hoping for David Fifita in the 8 jumper, but ah well. Credit where it's due, Flanno manned up and made much needed changes.

Fair question.

I think we missed a trick not giving Murphy a 2 week trial while Barba was suspended. If the kid isn't ready you don't do any damage dropping him because Barba was always returning. If he goes good you know you've got another option there, and so do the guys currently in the role.

Agree, would have also given Murphy the opportunity to play with Robson, therefore easing him in and not making him be the one "in charge".

We'll see how this goes I guess.

Not sure who will be doing the general play kicking this week.

Haha, I hate them more than ever this week after hearing off about 3 different people (all knights supporters) how cronulla should be kicked out of the comp. It was pointed out that the nrl owns their club and we're on the verge of seeing a lot of money because of the development etc but was pissing into the wind trying to have a reasoned conversation with them.
Cmon mate you know better than that. Fancy trying to a have normal sensible conversation with a filthy Knights supporter
P.s I like the side this week

That is where the excitement of being a Sharks fan comes from - the unpredictability of how we're gonna bugger it up and raise the blood pressure of our supporters.

While the Chooks fans are wondering just how their side is going to light it up and excite them with hard runs, fancy footwork, crisp passing, spirited attack and awesome tries, us superior Sharks fans know it will actually be our side who opens the door for the Chooks to do any of that fluffy, winny stuff.
