I have happy memories from this clash having backed the Sharks at 9.5 last year. For some reason our odds are only 5.25 for this one. Surely we're going worse than last year?

You would imagine playing Murphy at 6 would be a nothing to lose situation here.

I won't be going to this game but will probably watch it on my live stream iPad NRL app. If I can be bothered.

I don't remember being so down as a Sharks fan. Even during the last two years when we went through all the crap of ASADA. I don't know why I feel that bad but I just don't like the direction the on field team is going. Off field I'm a bit more confident with things now we have Gorman here. But with Flanno in charge of on-field, I just don't know where the tries are going to come from and I don't know where the wins are going to come from.

On Saturday night you could almost predict what was going to happen. Whenever we dropped a ball or made a mistake you just knew a try was coming for the Titans. We just don't have it offenisvely or defensively at the moment.

This game could certainly be a nightmare. We live in hope but...

I'm the opposite Chad. For the life of me I can't understand why the supporters of a Club that's nearly died about five times in the last three decades, has been through seasons like 2009 - which was so, so much worse than where we're at now - can be so morose. How many people here said in 2009 that they just wanted their Club to survive?

That's not accepting mediocrity, its dealing with reality. Footy Clubs have ups and downs. We're pretty crap at the moment but if Flano doesn't get his **** together then he'll be gone sooner or later. It sucks in the meantime but hopefully it'll be the basis of a better approach.

This is the problem. I think a lot of us don't feel as though this will happen, at least not this year anyway regardless of how poor we continue to perform. Think of it like this, he's 4 games into a 78 game contract. He's only 5% of the way through it. I don't see how we can afford to pay him out.

Fair enough AB but it's the part in bold in your text that has me feeling so morose. I don't think this will happen over the next three years. Any sacking of Flanno is going to be seen as an admission by the board that they got the appointment wrong. And I just can't see them doing that. And while Flanno is the coach we will still play the same mind numbing football we have over the past few years.

I want to bloody win games. It's that simple. I don't want to sit here day after day, week after week losing games. It bloody hurts. I'm sure the players are hurting as well don't get me wrong but we've got the cattle to win games and win games well. What we don't have is the right bloke to get into their headspace. And we don't have the right bloke leading our club, developing our players and providing poor game plans.

Yeah i don't get the suicidal thoughts about the club. We've been through a lot ****ing worse. Have a beer and man up.

We suck. But the good thing about sucking is that if it continues for long enough, the people responsible will get the sack. We have a good squad. It just needs a good game plan and leadership to guide it.

Im going to the game on sunday (mrs letting me go on my own WOO)and pub crawling and going to destroy SFS stadium toilets and a good old time at the footy.

Cronulla by 30.

I think most feel down as the last two years have just been a mess and there were expectations going into this year only to find out its actually worse to watch.
Halves selections must be difficult losing Nu and Stanley and with barber either being out of form or flano just cannot get the right formula with him. Robbo cops heaps but tries his ass out and just hasn't got the kicking game needed now.
Flano reminds me of Daly coaching origin whereas he will pick a more experienced been there and done that type of player instead of a good younger player that has been carving up hoping to get his chance.

78 games ? You're predicting 6 games in the finals over the next 3 years... I can live with that.

This is probably why I'm feeling the way I am at the moment.
