4 tries in a game wow!
Think Mat Rogers scored 4 against Knights in Newcastle on a Friday night game late 90s. Was very pissed so may be wrong. Up up

Hey Holdsworth.

Say hello to Tony Herman.

You'll be seeing a lot of him. He will be your coach for the rest of the year!

wooooooooohoooooooooo

Wow thats what my weekends feel like when we win lol,

I thought we played well, Arona was a great buy, one of the best of the year for us with the amount he would be on.

Robson gave great direction, we looked good. Was a new team out there. Ayshford didn't really do anything. Only 27 something metres, compared to all 4 of the outside backs who had over 100

Gordon also looked like he a new spiring in his step, he was sniffing for the ball very chance he could get. Nice to see.

Sorry of thats all been said, just sharing my thoughts.

at the end of the day **** it feels good.

Great game by the boys today. Very satisfying. It had to be done though. None from five would have been awful. One from five isn't much better but this will give the guys heaps of confidence.

Before I talk about us I have to say the Warriors were very poor. Poorer than a poor person in the poor house. They were flat, uninspiring and just downright pathetic. They couldn't hold the ball, gave away silly penalties, threw passes over the touch line and lacked spark.

Glad to say that the Sharks today had some of the spark of that mighty team in the 1990s.
Robbo, allowing for how bad a halfback he is, obviously has an effect on this team because there was so much more control today. Still a few brain explosions late in the first half but all in all Robbo did well on his first game back and gave TC the space he needed. If he and Todd stay injury free, Holdsworth will be a permanent fixture in NSW Cup.

The heroes for me today were Sop and Arona. I think Matt Prior, who missed today due to injury, should be behind these two.
They were awesome today, running strongly, defending brilliantly and showing they are first grade material. When Gal and Lewis come back these two will make a very strong bench.

Flash, despite missing some goals today, was dynamic. He chimed in wherever he could, broke tackles and looked dangerous. Goal kicking in that wind was tough today. If you weren't at the ground you wouldn't realise how breezy it was.

Stapo, well! Great effort and well deserved. He cops a lot of flak on this forum (I'll admit from me as well), but today he positioned himself well and took his chances. Jono, well, he's still struggling.

I thought Fifita did OK, but he wasn't near his best. But then again we do expect a lot from him.
When our injured players all return, here's what I think our strongest line up is.

Gordon
Feki
Ayshford
Leutele (he was great today too by the way)
Stapleton
Carney
Robson
Fifita
Morris
Gibbs
Lewis
Graham
Gallen

Tagatese
Sop
Arona
Heighington
Lichaa
Vave

Omit two from the bench depending on the opposition. De Gois just didn't have it for me today, even though he's signed elsewhere Lichaa has more spark. Although he didn't set the world on fire in the NSW Cup game.

Forget Beau. Something is just not right with him and Evertonshark and I agreed that we may not see him all year.

Highlight of the day was finally getting to meet Snowman. Thanks to Everton for introducing me.
Great game, but we must re-group for Manly next weekend.

Too hard on Robbo Chad. He had a few poor kicks, otherwise he was outstanding. We looked a million dollars with him out there today. Todd looked like a different player with him on the park.

It's like a batting partnership.
If Robbo takes pressure of Carney, so Carney can play amazing footy, then they both had a great "innings".
