The mills pass was unlucky. He was off balance and his momentum was going the other way, it was as good a pass as you could hope for in that position. Stapo could have been wider but it's hard to place blame on anyone for that.

Any thoughts on Wades performance last night? Hasn't kicked on in the back row as well as I expected!

I'm happy with how he's been playing. If he had a cutout in him he'd be unstoppable but he only seems to be able to give the short ball at the line atm.

His defense is really good and when he takes the line on he carries the other team for a few metres.

Yep, I said this when he first got injured. He's the best centre we've got.

I said the same thing and that we will struggle without Ricky and we are. Bakuya needs to start and go in there. We can get by without having another backrower on the bench ffs

Flanno works with what he's got

He's got plenty. Even ignoring our NSW cup level backs he should be doing alot better in attack than this

It wouldnt of mattered if he was standing on the sideline or where he was, the pass was thrown hard, high and away from the body.

Just to stir the pot I bet J.Wright with his taller body and longer arms would have reefed that ball in and fallen over the tryline backwards for an amazing score leveling try!
Stapo's effort was akin the the West Indies trying to catch a cricket ball :)

Very predictable result and performance. The Sharks without Carney can't win. Gallen has to stop having brain explosions and set an example.

The make up of the team is, for me, just all wrong. For all the praise Flanagan gets people should remember this is the same bloke who thought Wade Graham was a good number 6 for more than a season.

Now is the time to make some serious changes to this side or this season will be over in a hurry. Ill be going to Brookie on the weekend but I fear it will get very ugly and we will be 2-4.

Pomeroy needs to find a new career. Has never been very good for the Sharks. Mills at centre? Please... I like Luke Lewis but he has done nothing in 5 games and was playing injured against the Dragons. Heighnington was left on the field for way too long yesterday. I think Flanno should move Lewis and Bukuya into the centres. We have enough bench players.

Watch closer and see what, the fantastic pass that Soward picked up and ran 90 metres to score? I like Luke Lewis, he seems to be a top bloke. But the only statistic he is leading so far this season is missed tackles. 0 try assists in 5 games and the bloke made 50 metres against the Warriors in a game the team ran for 1579 metres. He needs to be moved into the centres asap IMO.

Wade to hooker isn't necessary when we have 3 existing players that can play that position. If anything I would like to get Wade a go at lock.

I actually think that Wade could be a decent hooker...if he had been training in that position for the last couple of seasons. He can pass the ball, has good acceleration, tackles well, isn't the worst kicker in the team and could play big minutes. But like I said, he hasn't trained to be there and it is a specialist position so you need to be training there. He's also one of the finest up and coming second rowers in the game so it would be a shame to see his development in that position being hampered to cover the fact that Degois hasn't exactly been impressing anyone this year.

Degois was great in defense last night - happy for JMO to keep starting and Degois keep the bench spot for now

I haven't seen the game yet so I can't comment on that. I'll watch the replay tomorrow or something.

Good news. After my meltdown last night the bride has started to talk to me and the hole in the lounge room wall is repaired. (Sort of). Been duly informed that in future I'm to watch all Sharks games at the pub. I suppose that's a win for me really! Ha.

No worries, mind you I don't recall him doing much at all in attack but he did make at least 2 very good tackles that halted momentum
