I dedicate my 3000th post to the $50 I wasted on a ticket for todays game. Highlight of the day was the carton of chips and cornjack I bought before taking my seat.

Yes Prior, Achford and Holdsworth are all rubbish but the real problem is deeper than that. I said it last week. We are getting killed in the ruck and are way off the pace of the game. This is because we an old and slow team with a conservative structured game plan totally unsuited to the game at the moment. We also have bugger all strike power in the team. 5 tries in 4 games is terrible.

Every few years you see a revolution in the game due to rule changes or new coaches, dominant teams etc. Your seeing one right now with the subtle rule changes made and we are so far behind it's not funny.

Nice work Flanno and a Sharp. Your both a pair of dopes. We'll be lucky to win 5 games this year. I predict bottom three for us.

sadly, I have to agree samshark.
like the good ol' days of chris anderson and his 20 yr outdated flat attack once again.
we dont even look competitive, although decent.

Just got dominated by a team that was more emotionally up for the game.
Big crowd was always going to be a hard game to win.

At least some points would have been good.

Whatever ones opinion of Lichaa, this is what was so absurd about re instating Degois. He is simply too slow now, plain and simple. Replace him with whoever you like, but replace him. Lichaa, Penani, Brown, Politini, anyone.

The other thing is we're getting penalised for not getting off the tackled player a lot and it's hurting us. Gibbs and Fifita were guilty of this.

That's because the other teams are playing at a speed that is too fast for us. We are then laying on them trying to slow them down.

Agree totally, same thing happened in 2009 when sticky didnt adjust to the rule changes and still expected to grind games out - we got left behind, only just caught back up to everyone else last year and we are in the **** again. Too old and slow.

I was afraid this was going to happen I was never confident about this year I always believed that the ASADA drama took a lot out of the boys last year mentally & we were going to pay for it this season true injuries have not helped but our retention & buying programme suck & for the life of me I cannot understand why we have offered Flanagan an extra 3 years I hope we ditch Sharp & get
another coach of 1st grade standard to come in & offer some advice re tactics because his (Flanagan's suck) we are the slowest at adapting to new rule changes & if we keep going down this track we will join the Roosters of 66 in not winning a game
