I agree that MNF is a PITA to get to etc, yet the easy option is staying home. There are other teams that are poorly supported yet Cronulla are in the firing line to be the next club booted.
Hard for the families that take a blanket & sit on the hill in those conditions, yet there was certainly room for more umbrellas.

8600 crowd turn up. I'd like to know where the other 5000 fair weather supporters were? I'm not a fan of Sharks Monday night games, yet the "supporters" have got to make the bloody effort to turn up week in week out. The ovation the team got at half time was great. Have not witnessed that for ages. IMO if you live within 10km of Shark Park & were not working etc, you should have been at the game if you call yourself a supporter. Goes without saying, the club needs all the support it can get. Sharks will be considered for relocation etc, & a strong following will help aviod this. Gallop there last night, & would have been good to show him 13000 in those conditions.
It may be bad for the club, but the rainy night crowds are always the best. You know everyone there is a passionate supporter so people are a lot louder and less inhibited in support.

WOW. Still cant score over 20 points ffs.

We went down hill the minute Poms left the field. lol See who replaced him? Told you he will be a centre.

Gardner needs to be dropped and sacked asap, worst player in the world
Ok thats just mad. I don't think he made an error all night. Caught every bomb, scored a try, constant threat in attack. There are better fullbacks but he'll certainly do for us.

I'm being serious As soon as Poms went off we failed hard.

Gardner is the worst fullback ever. Watch that last try where he didn't start sprinting till the try scorer was in. The sooner we get rid of him the better.

Graham did play Centre which I thought was funny since I have called it since the start of the season.
That try was caused by firstly graham coming in, and then Mills. Gardner is a long way down this list of those at fault. Your "centre call" made the first error.

:Yes::Yes::Yes:
I'll take the win. Great first half and we can see where the second half needed tightening. Lets not forget, that's Manly's first loss for the year and I'd say they have really looked the goods the last fortnight.

A good effort.

I think the problem with your comments about Gardner (Graham at centre is not so far fetched at all, and I'm sure Flanno has considered it) is that you seem to be the only one that thinks it. Every commentator last night said how good Gardner was, even Daley and that's saying something, and Flanno clearly sees him as first choice fullback. He is a work in progress in some areas, and in others he is a cut above. Every time the club has trouble filling a position they can develop the player they've got or buy someone else. We can't keep buying another player, especially when the one we've got in this case has talent and a great attitude. He's only 21 or 22. Plenty of time to fix his problems and be a great club player for another 10 years. Note the above post makes no reference to AK, also a player who was and clearly still is a "work in progress". For the record if we drop gards next week, who do you want to play FB?
Did you? Because you must be blind?
Pretty sure i already mentioned that Graham would be good in attack not defence...... Plus i mentioned that it was his first time there and hasnt had any training there...

Sorry i know you didnt read this post and your already thinking of your next Albert Kelly joke to make.... hint... i posted a picture of myself naked holding all my Albert kelly stuff (tehehehe) You should use that i bet it will stump me real good..... Or hint 2 you could use the fact that he just got released by the sharks and he is probably out some place hitting some police officer..... go on i bet i dont have a come back for that.

He's a ****ing retard and he is getting on my nerves like I get on Mark Bastards nerves. How can anyone bag Gards? Do you see how excited he gets when we score. He loves playing for the sharks. He is going to make mistakes. He is an instinct player. You try to control that then you lose the other things he can do that no-one other than Barba and Slater can do. He is only going to get better and better. It would help if we surrounded him with more weapons in that backline. Just saying.

Like blind tasting at a wine show. That's the best idea I've heard all year, good thinking bro. If it was suggested as an idea, what would be their reasons for not doing it? Can't think of any myself.
Nah mate, I don't have a problem with that being called a try either. However, I have seen better "trys" than that given "no try". It's not until you freeze frame it that it appears he has contact with the ball on the ground. Even in slow motion, it appears he is pushing the ball forwards, not down. It's a 50/50 call and if the score was the other way around, I have grave doubts we would have been awarded that.

Referees have to start making decisions based on what they see, not on what the scoreboard reads and who is leading.

In my opinion, I think the video referees should be in a locked room with no sound or vision realting to the match until a decision has to be made. Then they get a call from the ref and the video footage is played and they make a decision based solely on what they see. If they have no idea what the score is or who is winning, I think we would see some very different decisions.

On Graham in the centres: he made a few defensive errors last night, but until last night he's played his career in 6 or 7, so I'm not going to bag the guy for making a couple of errors filling in because of injury.

I wouldn't see Graham as a long term fit there, but as a short term fix during a game I can live with it.

I go for Leutelle, people calling for Bukuya to be put into the centres, i dont want Bukuya out there, as he has been too good where he is. wright hasn't shown he is good enough to warrant being brought back up.

we cant keep making team reshuffles all the time. Sure it worked once but we got to keep our changes simple so our players can settle in together. .
Simple as in, centre gets injured and is replaced by a centre....isnt leautele a centre....see its simple
