Lets give ourselves some credit - we lost our first four and now we are in the top 4. Regardless of how some of that happened, its a great effort and should be celebrated...

A win is a win. We looked better than a 10 point lead. I even said at half time that I didn't feel safe. Parramatta where the better team in the second half. We showed massive composure to pull that one out.

Regarding the Radradra try, Fox is still talking about the put down & the Norman take, was that a try? Norman looked to have put that forward then Radradras grounding looked a bit suspect to me from the side angle.

What a roller coaster ride that was. Some real tough calls against us but we kept bouncing back. I really hope we can stiffen up our defence quickly, we should never have been in heart attack mode.

I'm going out on a limb here and calling Feki as possibly the most under rated player in the NRL and I'm not just basing that on todays game. When Barba returns Flanno needs to stop hooking Feki because he's always so likely to do some damage.

Very proud, Go Sharkies!!!!

I don't know if it's been mentioned already, but man it was hot at the ground today.

There was one period in the second half where we didn't touch the footy for 10 mins.

No wonder they had all the momentum at that stage.

We did really well to get the momentum back and get the win.

Great point. Newcastle won their first four and look at them now. Complete change of fortunes. I think that's why no one takes us seriously, we had a horrid start to the season and to be honest I think that's why I don't feel like we're in the top 4. Part of me thinks its fate for us to win it this year if we finish top 4 just because of the massive run we've gone on.

Taking the two stalled the momentum. It should never have got as close as did. We need to start backing ourselves in attack for the finals, it is starting to look pretty good.

Gals force pass nearly killed us. Heighington my MOM.

Yep takes the two then lays that **** on I can understand it in past years but we have guys that can score, I would rather a repeat set.

Wade Graham should never be the designated kicker ever again! Man up and say it Flanno! He is killing us with his idiotic kicks.

What's with the arm grabbing for twenty minutes in the second half? - why start that sort of rubbish two weeks before the semis?

Relieved we got the two points but if anyone thinks we are a threat they are kidding themselves. We should have won that by at least 24 points.

Just woeful. And not good enough. That is all.

I don't get to see them live much any more but if the Broncs run first and we stay 4th then its party time. Love to knock them off in Brisbane.

That was my ideal senario too but their performance on Thursday night was a real concern.

Reckon I'd prefer to play the cocks.

That would be so good to give the Broncos a shock at Suncorp, just one of those teams I cannot & ever will be able to stand! I would love to see what Bennetts excuse is then!

It is time to start acknowledging the quality of tries being laid on in the last 10 weeks plus. Taking the two was a poor decision and a turning point in the game. We got away with it against Parra, but we can ill afford to go into the finals with this strategy.

We can lay on a good try and to win a comp we are going to have to do just that.

Thinking back to our flogging of them back in the Aucklund 9's sends me a clear message, Broncos were playing their youngsters as were we mostly, once the likes of Thaiday & co retire they may not be the same team.

I don't really understand your frustration. The first half was great. Really good.

We surrender control of the game for a period in the second half, but the building blocks are all there for a tilt at the title. The defence is well above average, and despite one makeshift half (as you said in an earlier post), the attack is not to be sneezed at. The team of the first four rounds is wildly different to the team of the last four rounds.

So long as we take away a few lessons from today, I thought it was pass. We will need to raise our game against Manly next week and I think we'll win.
