Appreciate that we were always go to struggle big time in attack without Carney but that loss was bitterly disappointing and still hurt. Don't give me this nothing to play for rubbish. Our goal should always be to win every time we run out onto the field regardless where we are on the ladder, no exceptions and the fans should feel the same.

15,000 fans that's something pretty big to play for, how about pride, confidence, consistency, form? The tries scored against us were very soft with a host of poor 1 on 1 non tackles
I'm sure they always want to win, but there is a big difference between wanting to win and needing to win. They needed to win and we didn't.

Should we meet the Cowboys at some point in the finals they will feel they have the upper hand on us. What I will say is at least we matched their big forwards but their backs hurt us on the edges

Still enjoyed drinking beer on the hill in the sun with the boys and in the leagues club...
No doubt this is the biggest down side to the loss. We are a different team with Carney though, and when it is sudden death the intensity will be there in defence and we will have attacking options courtesy of TC.

What makes you so sure he wasn't 18th man?

Just because the guys name isn't on the team sheet doesn't mean he isn't 18th man.

regardless if he was 18th or 24th, the wrong decision was made, and he took a player from nsw cup. why not take a half? but you said it was impossible, even though we did it
