The other key to this game is to start well in defence and not let them score quick points. For me, the Roosters are alot like Souffs; if you keep them scoreless for awhile, they get sloppy. Once they start to score some points, they will get a roll on.

This was illustrated pretty well last night in the Roosters Tigers game where the Roosters scored a ton of points once the dam broke.

Maybe try & niggle JWH as well, very good player on his day but when he loses the plot he loses it A Grade style & he is their forward leader.

Totally agree,we must come out hammering him first, williams second and work through their forwards.Lets see how their halves go in a smash up! If we think we have the Best Pack as some of our guys say, this is the game to put it all together.Hope Wade Grahams in and Stapos Back. Sharks By 7 pts, if in front at half time.

I have a feeling that the first team to score will run away with a win.

If cronulla can score first it will be a massive confidence boost for the like the game in NZ.

If roosters score first, well you saw what happened when the west tigers' heads went down last night and what we did against them last time.

I hope the boys can lift for this game because its going to sum up our season. Can you imagine the hype and confidence of the shire if we can knock the premiership favorites off in the final weeks of the season? Massive.

I'm pretty sure outscoring them is needed to constitute a win...

Pretty sure what he means is that we won't be able to go try for try with them.

For once Flanno's plan of defending a lead may be the best cause, get the first try and then defend our hearts out. Grind the Roosters out, frustrate them, then capatalize on their errors. No razzell dazzell from us, just get to the kick.

Bingo. However we will still need 2-3 tries and maybe a penalty goal or something as the roosters can pile on quick points.

The only way we'll win this is if the roosters don't show up to the ground

We do like beating the number one side when they are at their best. Storm last year and Bunnies this year. Why not the Roosters?

This game is pretty crucial as a few have said before me.

A win is a massive confidence boost going into the final few rounds and leading into the real start of the season.

A loss could completely shatter our squad and leave them mentally weak.

If we lose narrowly, I still think we will take some positives out of it. So in other words, just don't get thrashed like last time and we should be good.

If the team turn up with last weeks attitude and performance (bar some freakishly fortunate fifita footwork), then we will get bummed so savagely. I think with the right mindset, gritty defence and smart kicking we can have a chance.

Carney needs to be on fire, Robbocop needs to do some more attacking kicks in the corners, and a real grind will frustrate one of the lesser disciplined clubs into gifting us penalties (as others have said).

If we win, it won't be by much. If we lose, we can only hope to reduce the points differential. Ideally I'd be happy with 24-18/20 sharks favour. Realistically I see it 12-34 against us.

It's a battle of the halves, in my opinion.

it will give a really good indication where we are at, i glad we are playing them.

especially after the 40-0 flogging.

I hope the boys stand up, and no quick tries, we have been leaking way to many early tries in the last couple of weeks.
