That was a gutsy victory. Worried at 7-6, never thought we played bad, but obviously Southampton har some classy backs.
3 - Tyson Frizzel
This fella was dangerous all night. Every run was with force and it was amazing how many options he appeared to create upon impact with the line.
2 - Jeremy Smith
Was what we were missing for much of our form slump. So clinical in defence. Made good meters through the middle, but his tempo and amp in the defence sured and directed our ship.
1 - Anthony Tupou
Created so many options as he always does on form, however why he sits in my top 3 was his attitude tonight and work ethic, he was rdy to do the hard yards when needed also. I think while he is creating second phase play he adds to our attack by putting the defence in two kids at the very least.
Notable mentions to:
Fifita very hard running meters when we needed it, the crab early, Morris at times showing his experience, Matt wright had his issues but was gutsy, Stapo a fantastic pick up on te full mid game & good meters out of end.
Paul Gallen as usual doing the hard work we all love... Just the 2 point call that let him down.
Halves really show our teams amazing running game when they get going, but honestly with this long kicking game, mainly regarding finding the turf, we need improvement to do well in September.
The bench was very sexy tonight, loved it. The rotation seems to be alot better when we have toops as a starter and Frizzel as an option.

No faults you f'wit. Refs got it wrong and was offside also. Now show some fu**ing sack next time, instead of saying they will be opened up like a can of sardines you soft****.

I'm stoked we won but **** that was an abysmal game for 70 minutes. Flano stuck to his promise of returning to the grind. Best players out there Friz, DeGois and Toops. Don't let that **** go to your head, we were as bad as souths for much of the game and are still well off the pace. I do love beating the bunnies though. And you Robson supporters shut the **** up before you start. It was a good try assist and he tackled very well against Inglis but the rest was blah.
Don't even get me started on this. The same thing is happening to Peachey who is a better "football" player than the Friz. If Friz was 32 years old he would have got a 10 year contract extension.

Tell me where the linesman was when the kickoff was taken, it didn't go 10 plus there was offside. Enough said there will be no apology. Great to see us finally win one against Souths.
Souths were pretty atrocious and I thought we were for most for most for that game.
Somehow we managed to win the game but we are going to have to ramp it up a notch or 2 against the Storm down there.
It's too bad Frizzel is going to the Dragons next year, he looked like a hand full all game.
I was real happy with Tupou too, he looked very dangerous.
I also thought Gallen had a great game too and he looked fresh after the match.
