Is this a serious post slide rule ?

Really ???

Do you work SR ? If you're sick and the doctor tells you to take a week off work - do you come back the next day ?

Flanno does seem to have a habit of picking injured players sorry - gards , wade & Wade again come to mind - all spectacularly backfired

So are you saying that he received direct medical advice not to play?

Bit hard on Flanno. With your season on the line and pressure mounting to win some games it would be very hard to leave players like Gards, Wade ect out of the team.

As if any professional footy players get the complete recommended period of rest during a season to properly heal. They always play with niggling injuries and with the chance of re-injuries.

.

For Gards and Slide Riules Benefit :

Aheadline I heard on 2GB today

" mcGuire is unlikely to make a suprise return this weekened with COACH Anthony Griffin saying it is NOT worth the risk"

From the Telegraph

"coach Anthony Griffin will adopt a conservative approach rather than risk losing Parker for the rest of the season and possibly the finals"

Got nothing to do with it. Different player, different injury, different circumstances.

Dogs have four legs.

My cat has four legs.

Therefore my cat is a dog.

Like Slide said above, too many differences to be an accurate and simple comparison

yeah whatever - you're probably right Wade would have twisted Flanno's arm and demanded to play , just like 3 weeks earlier and the same as gards did last year

Had a bit of a lurk on the Knights forums last night in the 'Rnd 23 vs Cronulla' thread. Read a few interesting things in there: They reckon Cuthbertson had his best game ever. They reckon Houston's 60 tackles is some kind of a record. And the funniest thing, They reckon Willie could make the Australian team at the end of the year.
