Stayed up to watch our innings.

Was good fun actually. Love a good collapse.

I finished work late last night, settled in to watch the cricket and we were 9 down. Good thing we dropped Haddin and bolstered the batting with Sean Marsh.

Anyway, back on topic. Can't wait for this game. Win this and the headlines will read that we are contenders. Its gonna be a blockbuster.

Jeff Robson will conjure up more kick metres in this game than the Aussie's first innings total. If that doesn't fire up Clarky and his batsmen I don't know what will

Ok, let's bump this game day thread. Forget about the Fifitas, forget about the Ashes, let's put our energies into beating the Cows on Saturday night.

Now that things are settled, the mental state of our players might be better than what I previously thought. Hopefully today's events can galvanise the team and see us having a real crack on Saturday.

We can't afford to start slow and we can't gift possession to the Cowboys. Keep the energy up and target JT's runners. He's too clever to get smashed himself so let's take away his supply.

We can win this game but we have to be clever and patient. I'll be out there, hopefully we can get the two points.

Can agree with most that mate but its Thurston's willingness to get belted that makes so dangerous.

he wishes

hahaha never misses an opportunity

I had a wank and it turns out I can bat for longer than the entire Australian team.

:lmao

Lewis a chance for turning out tomorrow.

Man I hope so. Each time I think about this game I come back to no Lewis and think what big in he would be. You'd have to think if he completed the captains run today (according to NRL.com's late mail) he's a more than 50/50 chance to take his spot.

Lewis a chance rofl.

all they said was that he trained well. Flanno said he's a chance but realistically they'll play it safe.

1000/1 he plays.

[h=1]Shark Lewis to play against Cowboys[/h]source: https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/29208374/shark-lewis-to-play-against-cowboys/

Cronulla veteran Luke Lewis is a strong chance of being a late inclusion for Saturday night's blockbuster NRL clash against North Queensland.

The second-placed Cowboys visit the fifth-placed Sharks in what shapes a bellringer bout that could have major implications on the NRL's top four.

A loss for North Queensland will leave them behind ladder leaders Brisbane, while a win for Cronulla would keep their top four hopes alive.

While the Sharks will be without suspended pair Andrew and David Fifita, Lewis is set to return from a knee injury after completing Friday morning's captain's run.

The 31-year-old suffered the injury against Canterbury in round 20 and missed last week's win over the Warriors.

"He's a chance, but I'll see how he pulls tomorrow," coach Shane Flanagan said on Friday.

"(I'll) probably err on the side of caution, but he's ready to go."

The last two lines don't really match the heading lol.

"The last line itself is intriguing - "I'll probably err on the side of caution, but he's ready to go"

I don't expect to see him run out, but thinking about it, I won't be surprised now either. Smokescreen?
