i think its time for gards at fullback and flash and beau on the wings... thats the best way forward.

we have given flash his fullback money, he deserves a pay rise, but gards is an attacking spark, and then we would have 2 class wingers
I've held this line for a while now. I'm not unhappy with Gordon at fullback at all, but it would be better for the team to make the change.

I just can't see us going anywhere with the current arrangement. Gardner has a few faults (overstated on here IMO), but at least he provides some attacking flair. He provides far more than any of our wingers do. I'd much rather bring him in and give ourselves a chance of going somewhere in the finals. We need some unpredictability and flair. We have no attacking spark whatsoever. Some people may see Gardner as a risk, but it's a risk that provides a potential upside at least. Our current backline has risk written all over, but with no potent attacking force. WE need someone who can create or make the most of a situation other than Carney. Moving Gordon to the wing shores up that position too. We could play Lewis in the centres to fix that area too.

How is Gardner going at the moment anyway? I watched the NSW Cup game 2 weeks ago (I think), where it was his first game back. Didn't see the whole game but from what I saw he was probably at about a pass mark. Nothing bad, but not too much spark anyway. But that's to be expected coming back from injury. He only had limited opportunities as well. Apparently he had a good game this weekend though?

I think Flanno is just waiting for Gardner to sign for another club before he makes the change.

I watched his game on saturday, He scored 2 tries and was a general menace.

He just seems to get man handled a lot, i know bowen and slater and co are similar sized, but they just seem to handle it better.

I thought the crowd was pretty disappointing on Saturday night. Not many over 11k on a mild Saturday night after a couple of good wins against a top 8 side is poor.

Did you not see morris' pass to feefs for the first try?

And Isaac winning 2 penalties, we definitely need a 500k hooker so we can complain about another position.
I think Morris is going great guns and I want him here next year. I disagree on Isaac. He seems lost in attack, and he is basically too slow.

This could work, as long as we swap them around in defence at certain points - particularly last tackle.

They'll target Gards where ever he is. It'd be handy having Flash out on the wing when they bomb the corner though.

What's the thoughts about playing him at centre? Is that a no go? He might see more ball than if he was outside Dick Fingers

It just won't happen, Flanno loves to play it safe and stick with what he knows, which is simple, forward oriented football. He has little concept of what constitutes an attacking threats and and that initiative and dynamism on the field being a positive yet he claims he doesn't have the backs to support anything more than his tired old gameplans

We won't see Gards back unless beau and flash are both injured... another club will get the best from him not us

Has anyone notice that left backs are the attackers and right side are the defenders. And they train that way . No attack training on the right side.

Agreed Gardner is a good nsw cup player a below par fg along with most of our side
Sopoaga has s big wrap on him runs well defends poor ,would get smashef in first grade
D Fifita reminds me of a Fifita when he first sign , alot of potential just gotta see if we can get it out of him and if his attitude off the field is worth workin with
Politni seems like he could make the transition to fg
