was great to watch it at the normanby with everyone

catching the red eye home we got to watch the replay of the game and it was just enjoyable the second time around

it was the most complete sharks win i have seen in a long time, great brutal defense, and surprising attack

and we also got to see dier do the crab dance! TWICE!

3 fifita
2 toops
1 best

also, im not one to like any warriors players, but i can wrap nathan friend enough. not for his game but his sportsman ship.

he clocked matt wright in the back with accidental knees and was apologising and telling the ref it was an accident, but also checking and making sure matt was ok, then patted wright on the head twice as an apology. things like that get a little lost in the game today

It will catch on. I know it in my heart.

I only got the see the highlights of the game, and read reports and see the stats card.

Sounds like Fifita had a blinder, few breaks and alot of meters, off the bench also. Well done to him. Shaping up to be a great player. IMO with the pack we are beginning to produce, Graham, Fifita, Gibbs, Ross, Lewis (on his way) Smith (if he stays, unless ive missed something already), Gallen etc, theres not gunna be alot of relief for the oppostion come interchange time.

On yestys game, as i missed the actual game, did we play that brilliantly, or were NZ very below par? Just trying to gauge where we were at, obviously Carney carved up, Gallen did his usual, and Fifita stepped up. Were we that awesome? Or was it more of a we played well, but were helped by extremely poor oppostion?

Yeah i get what you mean, just the 4 points they scored diddnt know if that was an indication of them being very ****, or if we just muscled up and didnt allow them to. Even their try, came off a strip from us, that could have easily gone into touch or we pick it up, they cop a penalty, and may have never scored.

Just didnt know if it was a game where we got lucky with an injury or 3? Them making alot of Errors, i saw we had the lions share of the ball, which was great, but i did see they completed very poorly also. What i do like is that we put 45 points on the board, its about time our points reflect on our possession instead of us having the ball 60% of the time and scoring 2-3 tries and still gettin cained

Thats great! Thats the **** that impresses the most, is dominating across the park. Hope alot of their errors were forced? Lots of pressure from us etc. The line breaks are good.

Im still amazed by Fifita, before he played for us, he was named lazy, started off slowly this year, but with Gal, Gibbs, Smith, Graham, Toupo and Bakuya all doing stints on the sideline, he has stepped up his game massively.

Finally got to watch a full replay of the game last night.

Carney and Robson definitely played well but it was great to see Toops wind back the clock and display some of the form he had when he first joined us. Best and Williams had a good combination going and even though he didn't score this time, Leutele continued to impress me with his strength and running. His defence still needs to be a bit stronger but with his form and that of John Williams, Poms and Mills are going to find it hard to break back into the side.

We have to keep our feet on the ground though. If anyone thinks we are going to smash other teams like that then you are dreaming. The Warriors were not their usual selves but then again we did not let them play well. Fifita also stood up and I thought Morris went really well. We look so much better when Gal, Jez and Toddy all play.

Here's hoping we can keep it up against the Knights.

We played what was in front of us and nailed it but make no mistake the Warriors played like we did against Canberra a few weeks ago where tackling was optional. They weren't all that interested. Having a a prop score 2 tries against you says something about your defense but Fafita was on fire

Execution in our attack still needs to improve to trouble the top teams in defense however I was impressed with this victory. Flanno and the boys needed to do a big job there and they got in there and did it and saved our season. I knew from the first few minutes we were going to make a game of this. The players were all smiles and hugs with each try, no doubt some joy and relief after a tough month.

I really like the structure and consistency we showed in getting out of our red zone - an area we have struggled in for alot of the year

Stapo first hit up followed by Williams then 2 props hit ups and a dummy half run. Shared the workload and timing was effective.
