sucks this game is being taken to Bathurst. When i saw the draw id actually pencilled this date down, ive always liked the look of Penrith Stadium, its kinda got a traditional home ground/semi big time feel to it, and IMO what the NRL is about. Its basically what remondis should/could/is like. Id love to watch a game there

I know the majority of the fan base for both teams is in Sydney but us country fans really appreciate it being brought out here

I'm still pissed off this game has been moved from Penrith. Was really looking forward to getting to this game.

Yea it's a bit of shame and I have fond memories of my last visit to penrith stadium few years back (see my sig) where they were awful and we smashed em with the help of albert kelly and gallen
Season went to **** after that though unfortunately

IMO the stadium at penrith is a great place to watch footy, either from the hill or the stands and the atmosphere is good and staff very friendly
Plus heaps of parking at panthers across the road

I'm not sure if the move to a ground in Bathurst increases or decreases the Sharks chances and how the team will show up...could go either way

Agreed. I've always wanted to go to watch a game at Penrith. Hopefully the draw works out better next year. I do think taking a game to Bathurst is a good move by the Panthers.

It's certainly good for people out that way.

It makes me even more jealous though that there will never be a country game near me and sadly for me it takes away my opportunity to get to the game.
