If Smith and Gal dont play, IMO we get smoked. No offence to their replacements (not Graham) but they dont cut the mustard
Smoked? We beat them in Canberra 44-22 with basically the same side minus gal and Smith. And they had Dugan, who they're missing this weekend. Two weeks ago we draw with the roosters, with more players missing than Gal and smith, then a week late the roosters do everything but beat the bunnies who are above us on the ladder. We're 5th and canberra are 13th. We're at home. I hate to be an optimist bro but the form line does not point to us getting smoked.

FMD if we lose we actually won;t make top 4 and don;t deserve to be there.

Now that's how to be positive
You do realise that there will not be a semi at Toyota park regardless of where we finish

That is true, but if we played Nth Qld in the first week would you rather playe them at SFS/Homebush or up there?

The Raiders beat St George recently and St George beat us. Works both ways.

But the dragons haven't won in canberra since 2000, and canberra just scraped home, and we haven't won in wollongong since the great depression! We put 44 points on them earlier this year and doubled their score in canberra. I just don't see how we lose 2 players and all that turns around.

I think we're going a lot better than the last 2 games suggest. We were the better team in both those games. We'll win this weekend with or without Gal or Jez.

Thank you, this is what I was saying last night but everyone is making reasons why we might lose this one. I know we are the Sharks and success does not come naturally to us but for once if I was placing a bet it would be on the Sharks this one. Please take a look at Raiders most recent form, last game against Titans and at their home ground I might add. One of the worst displays of the year. They don't have much to play for now either.

We don't expect success cause we have been burnt to many times before by this club.

I know mate but this is a regular season game against a poor team not a Grand Final against strong opposition where failure is par for the course.

I just got home from doing a job in Kurnell, and as I drove past Toyota Stadium, I could see Wright, Bukuya, Leutele and a few others in the gym. Was hoping to see a 100% fit Paul Gallen pumping iron, but I didn't :(

I understand that Gallen will not play this w/e. He should not have played SOO3. Doubtful for round 21 also. Hopefully 100% after that.

These are the games we tend to lose, the games that we are expected to win. Haven't you noticed that over the years. We never seem to beat teams we are supposed to beat.

I have noticed that over decades, matt. should win this one though, even without jez and gal.

I factored in the Sharks curse to this one and still think we will get the points.
