Hope we can do to Canberra what we've done to the Eels...continue the away domination.

Why can't we play Canberra in the opening 4 or 5 rounds when its warmer? Always late July and in the evening.

That Monday night in 2008 was the last Sharkies v Canberra game I went to. I get chills thinking about it. Credit to the CSSC though, you mad bastards were ringside in the thick of the horizontal rain/sleet going ape**** for the whole 80. I was right up top of the Eastern stand feeling like it was hurricane season with a pie in each pocket just to keep the frostbite from taking my fingers.

I reckon this one will be watched from the warmth and comfort of my living room too.

Caps, i have a mate that shot that game, he said the sleet was coming in horizontal, it actually froze on the glass of the lens. I am glad i had to work elsewhere that night.

This one will be freezing.

It was honestly the coldest I've experienced in 24 years here, or anywhere I've been.

You're a lucky man for being elsewhere.

Hi Snowman. The Raiders team go to Dickson Tradies after every game at home. Maybe you could do a "Carney" on Campese instead. Will give a more lasting impression!

For the Canberra game I'd stay at the yha in the city. Cheap and near the Canberra drinking spots like king omalleys, transit bar, casino etc. of you wanna stay more up market the novotel is good too (also in the city)The raiders/action put on free busses from civic and also dixon tradies so civic is the best place for a footy/pissup trip
