I like the way Fifita has started the season, making good yards, playing good minutes & doing his fair share of defence, keep this up & he is a chance for origin.

Super confident on this one & the next week v Dragons, I'm even tempted to break my #1 rule & put money on a Sharks game.

Not sure how you can be super confident. Until we start scoring more tries crappy teams will always be in with a chance of beating us.

Have faith Harold, we only got 2 x meat pies last night but as strange as this theory sounds cause of our terrible completion rate we looked more dangerous than we have for as long as I can remember, other teams will be worried about us with our attack this year.

We'll see. Hope you're right.

I was thinking that last night, at the end of the day you could argue the attacking player can get hurt just as much as a defending player, wonder if they will re look at that rule.

Something else I thought was good last night was Robsons long kicking game. I remember a few times he kicked the ball and found the space between the winger and fullback which usually he can't do. Carneys long kicking game was also really good.

I agree FIFITA if he could run a bit wider out ,away from the ruck , he did last year , lookout he'll carve them up. Yes he can make origin but the club comes 1st

I thought correct me if Im wrong Merrit did not attack the Ball He focused on the player and the rule is he must make an attempt for the ball which he didnt. Ryan s feet were not even on the ground when he tackled him ?

if merritt had not shoulder charged wright, he would have scored. why was this not classed as a professional foul? should merritt have had 10 minutes in the sin bin? also want is the rules regarding penalty try? cause to me if merritt had not made a illegal tackle ie shoulder charged he would have scored, so why not a penalty try?

Can you say he would have 100% scored? Merritt could of held him up.

Thats why he should of just passed to beau and scored to fix this whole mess up

I tried to get them onto the field after the game to run the play ten times but Wright wasn't up for it, said his face was already hurting too much ;)

If Graham got suspended last year for a head high shoulder charge then Merritt should be on report no doubt

It couldn't of been a penalty try as he was not in the act of scoring. However it was a professional foul and Merritt should of gone to the bin for 10.
