I will take that apology but I would also like the video referees to apologise & honestly explain what they were thinking!

Those 2 did their best to get us to lose that game! The other try that Holmes would have scored I believe was a fair try, the one where they said Lewis knocked it on, he dribbled it a bit but I believe the ball went back then & it should have been play on then!

I don't want apologies, I just want them to get the ****ing decisions correct

This. What good is them confirming what we all ****ing knew? Doesn't put the extra 5 (7 if you go penalty try) on our F/A. Doesn't return the months of life expectancy we all lost upping the blood pressure raging over the call.

Such a screw up should be sackable. Its not often they're left with 2 right (acceptable) options and 1 wrong one - and they managed to dodge both acceptable calls. First off it should of just remained with the on-field call of 'TRY', but if he reckons he was beyond doubt it wasn't a try but he was tackled off the ball then its an obvious penalty try call.

100% spot on. In such a tight comp those points in the for & against column means so much.

Tony Archer has also just stated the Heighington strip was also an incorrect decision, he said the contact was made on the arms so should have been ruled as play on or loose carry, those 2 crucial decisions ruled against us in the crucial moments shows how much the Refs didnt want us to win! Karma always strikes however!

We are lucky that "Karma" worked so quickly.

It's because I have the "Magic happens" sticker on my car.

Yep. Worst few moments of my life.

**** me you have had an easy life then so far lol

Well its obvious, they both decided that the sharks were not supposed to win simple as that.

This could come back to bite us on the Ass.

On to another point now, in the extra time part what was the team thinking when we were attacking on their line? When we are in attacking position in golden point isn't the obvious thing to do is run forward, not worry about all stupid passes & run sideways? That got me in a pickle! At least Gal got us back on track then Val showed his composure!

Cronulla skipper Paul Gallen has revealed there was a bit of drama with the coin toss going into extra time.

"We went into extra time and me and [Raiders captain, Jarrod] Croker… he flipped the coin... and I called 'Heads' and it came down and hit him on the foot and come up 'Tails'!," recalled Sharks skipper, on Sunday Triple M NRL.

"I said 'Mate, I'm not accepting that. You can't do that'!

"And they were like 'C'mon, are you serious?'

"I said 'It hit him on the foot, it's not allowed to hit him on the foot.'

"And the referee said 'Oh, we'll do it again' and I said 'Nah, let him have it' and he goes, 'Nope, no I don't want him whinging, we'll have it again.'

"'And so we flicked it again and I won.'"

lol Gal really is an insufferable whinger. But who knows, hitting his foot could of really disrupted the myriad of possible outcomes of the coin - especially if it was a 50c coin with all them edges.

I think the two games we threw away at the death (Titans and Warriors) will bite us more than 5 differential points but take your point.

I'll let the Heighington 'strip' slide, it was a split second decision made by the on field refs and at normal speed you could argue it looks like he rakes it.

And before someone says "well the video ref should have overruled the decision", it's the case of do you want a fast flowing game, or do you want a 30 second stoppages as the VF's review every decision?

Dint we have one overturned and sent to scrum for that over the last few weeks?
