Had slight thoughts about driving down with the family to Canberra and staying overnight and the wife was surprisingly open to it.

But then I remembered I've got soccer 10am Sunday morning and I'd never make it back in time. I know if I didn't play my team would be so worse off without me.

Croker always seems to play pretty damn well against us.

BJ Leilua has taken the mid-season transfer... to be a low minutes 2nd row bench player. :drunk

Croker does always play well against us and usually bobs up with a try. He seems very good at scoring off grubbers. Hope somebody flattens the mutt

Only a three hour drive mate. You could make it.

Still thinking about it mate. My soccer team could obviously get on well without me but with us playing the bottom team it's a chance to add to my goal tally.
Leaving at 6am in the morning on a Sunday doesn't appeal to me. I think we'd have to drive back the night before rather than stay over.

Yeah maybe head down Friday and come back straight after the game on Saturday. Worth it to witness a win.

Every time i drive down there we end up losing badly and the weather on the return is **** just to rub it in.

I'll save you all the disappointment and stay home ensuring a sharks win and decent driving conditions on the way home.
